   I could be wrong but what was going on in there today. Is this revenge of the carrier bag. No serve yourself checkouts were open and the staff on the tils appeared to have a huge pile of carrier bags between them like they wanted to charge everyone for a bag. Someone in that shop is obsessed with people stealing carrier bags, hmmm Update, and there she is again, the woman obsessed about carrier bags. What happened to the days when bags were freely available. She wouldn't just hand me one when I asked she made me go back to the checkout and wait and then sent someone else over with them and told the person to scan them for me. If they insist on treating me like a criminal I will stop shopping there

   Some of the newer members of staff are rude and incompetent. I was told the photo on my ID looked nothing like me when I was trying to buy redbull (I am 18) by an older woman who clearly had vision issues. She was rude and refused to listen to me and was clearly judgemental of younger customers. She seemed to have already decided that I was under 18 before I got there and ignored my ID which is obviously real. She also seemed to think that I would have an illegal fake ID just because I’m young (which I wouldn’t) which is clearly ageism. When I came back in later in the day, the younger employees were fine with my ID, so clearly it was a competence issue with this employee. I’m honestly upset about the poor service and insulting way this woman treated me. Other than that, the staff, especially the security guard, are lovely.

   I understand it's a Local and products are priced for convenience but come on, it's ridiculously over-priced. However, the one star isn't for the price or quality of products. It's for the nuisance it causes to local residents. Faulty security alarm going off at times like 1AM and 3AM during the pandemic were not welcome and when confronted the staff just laughed it off and the manager was not interested at all. In fact, this store manager is the rudest and least skilled when it comes to customer services. 5AM deliveries. Sometimes 4:30AM even on a weekend. Drivers leave their engine running. Shout to staff. Completely unacceptable. We've complained numerous times and Sainsburys have said they'll "deal with it internally" and nothing has changed. It is a Local store. Not a superstore. You do not need deliveries that early in the morning.

   Just wanted to say 'thank you', especially to the male member of staff on checkout/stacking who helped me greatly and stopped me having a bit of a meltdown when my electric wheelchair decided to take some timeout at the checkout this afternoon, he was kind, considerate, polite and understanding and reassured me that my dilema was not a problem even though I could hear a few 'tuts' from customers behind me. I forgot to look at his name badge , but he knows who he is and you should too as there will be a little halo shining brightly above him, please pass on my HUGE thanks to him again and reassure him that the taxi got me home safely. A true gent
