On the evening of 23 January 2025.I was shocked to see the cashier at the iceland store in rayners lane, insulting customers. She yelled at the top of her voice to the customers who were ahead in the queue. Many were complaining that she had overcharged them. They had picked items which were on discount but the cashier had disregarded the offer price and overcharged most of the customers. So many customers kept complaining. An elderly lady of colour was also one of those who requested to be refunded like the rest. But the cashier stopped manning the till and yelling at the top of her voice told her that she would not be refunded and thretened to call police on her.She oedered her to get out of the supermarket. Some of the customers asked her why she was treating a customer so rudely. As if the yelling was not enough, the cashier further insulted the customer by telling her that she is from Albania and they help poor black people like her ,in Albania. The customer made it clear the she did not want any free stuff but wanted her to consider the discounts and give her a refund like she had done to other customers. It was very disappointing to see a customer who had bought a lot of stuff, being insulted, belittled and threatened. I have been a regular customer at this store and it seems the workers at iceland rayners lane, are all new. The lady requested to talk to the manager but the Manager,a young lady, seemed to be quite intimidated by the yelling cashier. She did not help and the cashier continued ranting.

I went in Saturday 14th January and was really shocked by foul language used by staff members stocking up. The language was obscene and offensive. I felt sorry for the lady at the till who was courteous and polite. All the customers felt intimidated. I would not feel comfortable in Iceland as a 65 year old. I think this store lacks management and there is a lack of staff training.

Extremely rude lady at the till (short, middle aged). She needs some learning on how to communicate to a customer because of whom she even has a job! Disgusted!

Went when it wasn't busy with customers. Loads of Xmas snacks, chocolates, mince pies out already. Was just ruined by only having one till open & a queue of 8 customers. Someone in the queue asked the till lady if they are going to open another till. She said that they may do! Then 3 mins later they opened another till & everyone in front of me went to that till.

Very good prices on non freezer goods too. Friendly staff. It's £1 bonus on £20 saved on the Bonus card is a brilliant idea. They remembered my birthday and gave me a present. Even after the hike in the standard of living, Iceland is still very good value for money on nearly all of their products. 12 large organic eggs are only £2.25.
