   My previous review was a positive one (5 stars), but unfortunately after my latest visit today (06/04/24) I'm not so keen. The electric chargers used to be on even after the official closing time of 11pm. So if you were already charging and the clock turned to 11pm, you could continue charging until your car battery was full, but now the employee comes round to tell us (3 cars charging) that we'd all have to disconnect, as we'd get a fine for charging beyond 11pm. Ridiculous. Why? Just to save a few quid on forecourt insurance? So much for trying to turn London into a 24 hr city! Or customer convenience!

   I just love this place every time I me I find something new to see no matter what time of year you visit. The coffee shop serves a wonderfully select of foods and drinks. And not forgetting the private beach that has a wealth of history this is a must visit place.

   Spacious petrol station with Little Waitrose, nice and convenient although at markedly higher prices than normal Waitrose, as is usual with petrol shops. Sometimes a long queue for the car wash but the voucher lasts 7 days so you can always return when it’s quieter.

   Very nice refurbishment. Waitrose food and Shell fuel. Staff very friendly and conversational. The staff were also patient, as it took me a while to find a payment . I would have rated five stars, but one car sped into the forecourt, far too fast, which disturbed the situation. Perhaps the owners can install some form of traffic calming on the entrance facing the duel carriageway.?
