This is third-class service. I understand the Challenge 25 policy, but staff should at least make a reasonable judgment. I clearly look over 24, yet I was still refused service even after I offered to show my digital ID. I was willing to show my visa online, logged in in front of the staff, since I do not carry my physical passport with me at all times. Carrying a passport everywhere is risky—if it’s lost, it becomes a serious problem. The staff insisted on a physical visa, which is unreasonable, especially when the government has stopped issuing BRPs. There is no physical document to show anymore. This experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing.

I have repeatedly noticed that the customer service there can be quite poor. Staff often seem more focused on rushing customers than providing a respectful shopping experience. For example, during a recent visit we had just completed our purchase and were still in the packing area for a few seconds, when a member of staff (female) asked me to move aside so another customer could use the space. I felt unnecessarily pressured and as though my time wasn’t valued. Packing is part of the checkout process, and customers should be allowed a reasonable moment to finish without being made to feel like an inconvenience. Moreover, people with special needs might need extra time and patience, but their needs seem to be ignored at this Tesco branch. This isn’t about a single incident, but rather a pattern of staff being impatient and not considering that customers may need a bit more time for various reasons. A little courtesy would go a long way. I hope management can address this so the store can offer a more welcoming and considerate experience for everyone.

It comes in handy for little grocery shopping or getting food, snacks or drinks on go. The location is very good, next to Harrow on the Hill tube and bus station. The staff is ok but those self service machines are a pain. Never seen all of them working, 2-3 at max and even then the scanning screens aren't good sometimes they don't even read the bar codes. Most times only one person managing the kiosk and the self service area.

A nice Tesco, I don’t know much about the staff, but I’ve been there couple of times, staff was friendly. It’s clean, just a regular Tesco

So this morning at around 9:05 I went to this tesco and I saw an incident a lady in the store wanted to take the meal and she unknowingly added cheese twist not knowing that it is not a part of a meal deal. So the manager lady with specs she said to that lady at self checkout very rudely that you people don't read properly the stickers and now it will go waste I can't keep it back and that lady was almost embarassed and teary I mean she could have said politely i mean who made her manager when she is into customer service and doesn't know how to talk with customers. Imagine u going on your work in the morning and someone spoil your day like this. And she was rude to me as well when I asked her a question. The other lady from some South indian part I think was polite and humble but this manager lady is so rude and arrogant I don't think I won't to go back to this store again where people are not respected.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Cristina from the till is the rudest staff member I have encountered. Firstly I tried buying nasal spay and she requested my ID and refused to serve me even when showing it. Secondly i tried buying ecigs on another day showed her my id on my phone and she refused again saying she needs to see a paper version. I tried explaining that I have everything on my phone but she dismissed me serving another customer. A lady in line asked me what I was trying to buy and she yelled that no one can buy stuff for me then ignored me. Did I mention I am 30 and she treated me like I am 12? In any other day she is just simply rude whenever she serves regardless of what you buy. Never coming into this shop again. The behaviour displayed is bellow any standards.

Easy and accessible, can get busy at times. The women cashiers are pleasant and patient.

I was in the store today buying myself a drink. When I witnessed a member of staff treat an elderly woman disgustingly. She was having trouble with paying and asked to put some items back. The way the cashier handled it was appauling and should be ashamed of him self!!!

Getting real tired of the staff shutting off the self service machines .what's the point of having them if you're constantly distrusting the customers? They shut them off even in rush hours (leaving 1 staff member serving and sometimes the 2 old self service machines running which are next to the manned till. Grow up Tesco. Embrace the tech or dump it and stay in the dark ages
