Overall, the products are good and the staff are nice. I have been using this shop for a long time and have never been disappointed. However, I was not pleased today because the prices of the products were missing. I had to ask the staff for the price of each item, which was inconvenient. Not knowing the prices can lead to situations where you end up paying more than expected and may not feel comfortable returning items. As a Romanian, I try to support Romanian businesses, but this experience was not satisfactory.

Funny how the name is "Food 4 Less" yet everything is MAD expensive (£6 for half a kg of meat... you're not fooling anyone)
I will specifically focus on the Butchery shop.
There have been people saying around that a lot of their meat that they put for sale is actually long expired and they just wash the meat and put oil on it to make it look fresh. A woman I know had to return the meat twice because it was very much expired.
Well, here I am to say that these aren't just rumours, BECAUSE MY MOM LITERALLY WITNESSED EVERYTHING FOR HERSELF TODAY!!
She went to buy meat from the shop and saw the woman washing the expired meat there. She just shrugged it off at first and asked for a kg of meat, only half a kg being £6
As the lady was packing the meat, my mom saw it was black in the middle but again, she didn't say anything for now.
My mom paid with a £20 note and the woman decided to give her change that was only in coins instead of giving her notes (this may not seem like much to you but they did this before too... they just want to keep the notes to themselves because they are selfish cowards)
My mom eventually called her out for everything, including the expired meat and the woman was like "I am just washing it of blood"
There was no blood bro.
Unless you want severe food poisoning, don't come here. They are destroying both your wallet and your health.

A store at hand, but you have to be careful with the expiration date and ask for the date of the product, if it doesn't have it, it would be good to leave it there. The meat is fresh from Thursday because the weekend is coming and people are making barbecues. In connection with smoked products (salamis, sausages ...) they are good and tasty but I repeat great attention on the expiration date. Do not be greedy for offers without an expiration date because in the long run you will pay with your health.
