I visited Waitrose in Sheen on the 3rd of December, and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience in the car park. I parked in a child parking bay as I was with my wife and young son, who had a medical appointment on the nearby high street. They went to the appointment while I quickly went into Waitrose to do some shopping. When I returned to my car, I was confronted by a parking attendant who was extremely aggressive in his tone and manner. He demanded that I move my car immediately because I was parked in a child bay. I explained that I had indeed arrived with my child, pointed out the child seat in the car, and even offered to show my Waitrose shopping receipt. He told me he “didn’t care” and that he hears “this all the time,” and insisted I move the car. His behaviour made me feel very uncomfortable. When I went to my vehicle, he followed me, continued raising his voice, and began writing down my number plate as if issuing a ticket. At that point, I felt unsafe and decided to leave the car park straight away to avoid further confrontation. This was a very disappointing experience, especially as a regular Waitrose customer. I hope management will review the conduct of the parking staff, as interactions like this can make genuine customers feel intimidated and unwelcome.

During my visit to the Waitrose on Upper Richmond Road West this Thursday at around 4pm, I experienced service far below the standard I have valued for over 25 years. After purchasing what I believed to be children’s ice cream, I discovered at home that it was actually dog ice cream, due to Judes brand dog products being incorrectly left in the normal children’s ice cream section—a placement that could easily mislead or offend many customers. When I returned immediately with my receipt, I was met by three staff members, including an employee named Yahya and a manager, Magda. Instead of offering an apology or acknowledging why dog ice cream had been placed there, I was abruptly told about a supposed 20-minute return policy. I found Yahya’s attitude dismissive, and the manager beside him showed little interest in addressing my concern. Only after further explanation was the return processed, and I heard the manager instruct staff to remove the remaining dog ice cream from the section. For some reason, this branch appears to be falling behind in customer satisfaction, as this marks my second poor experience here. It is disappointing that such a respected brand is increasingly let down by unprofessional staff whose approach reflects a lack of experience and training, diminishing the strong reputation Waitrose has built over the years.

Generally very good, and excellent for some normally "specialist" things like cheeses and cooked/cured meats. Some good-value items, but not particularly cheap overall as supermarkets go. The quality and choice are well above average, though.

Love this Waitrose! It is bigger than it looks from the outside and there is A good size car park adjacent to it. Got everything I needed and of course more. Staff are so friendly and kind ! Loads of isles and loads of offers. They also have recycling bins. It is right on the high street so great location.

This is an excellent Waitrose with fantastic product selection, especially of higher quality imports. Staff are always friendly here, bakery fresh, easy to get around, clean and good location. I especially like the free coffee with your Waitrose card, and the check out is always very quick.

What s going on in this Waitrose!!?? Half of the check out lanes always closed and 6 out of the 12 self check out stations permanently closed. Waiting to pay not cool. This Waitrose cleanliness appalling, staff with a notorious "I can not bother" attitude. The bakery section always under stock. A difibrillator by the main entrance with no details of how to access in case of emergency. The information desk seems an storage room. Waitrose & Partners East Seen should be awarded the Worse ever Waitrose. You are so bad that i have discovered that theTesco opposite you is not bad at all and that Valentina is pretty good.

A fairly run of the mill Waitrose, above average sushi counter but is really let down by its toilets, I have honestly been into more pleasant public toilets. I have no idea what’s going on there but I expect much better from a shop that markets itself like Waitrose does. :(

Several years ago the staff here were fabulous. Now, service is really poor and dismissive. Plants are always in poor condition as nobody bothered to water and for weeks now, they only open 50% of the self serve till are open so there's usually a long queue. If your transaction needs help, you wait for ages before staff come to help. The floor is filthy as are the toilets. Really disappointing.

I like Waitros, have been coming here for many years. Staff are always friendly, always willing to answer a question and assist Very well stalked up, fabulous fresh foods, fish and meat. Good wine selection. Everything you need to make a meal is available. During the pandemic, they have put restriction in place for sraff and customer safety. All trollies are wiped down and handed to you at entrance, also at exit someone will assist in carrying your shopping back to your car. Has great parking space available. Another pleasant shopping trip.

If you don’t mind the Waitrose expensive prices than this is a great store. Very big and you will find everything you need. Bakery, fish and meat isle etc. They also offer free parking (quite large) but beat in mind that it’s only for a limited time of 1:30’. If you fail to leave by then , you get a ticket.
