   Consistently poor experience, staff leave you waiting to even ask for your prescription, not even an acknowledgement that you are waiting. Now they have also told me they don't have my prescription one day, then the next day when I have tried to pick it up again there is a sign saying they are closed for a remodel and people should make sure to have enough prescription for 72 hours. A heads up from the pharmacy the day before would have been helpful. Also, how do you make sure you have enough prescription for 72 hours if the pharmacy is going to close without warning?

   I had to pick up some antibiotics a few months back for a nasty bite on my legs they were swollen infected and I was in pain the guy handed me the the antibiotics and off he went in to the back..never thought anything about it.. untill today Iv got a fine for not paying.. It was genuine didn't think anything about it. I just needed to get home I was in so much pain.. I have always prompted with a form and payment or asked if I pay for prescriptions. I think that every patient should be asked on picking up medication by the members of staff as this is the last thing on peoples minds when the are not well. So I will not be using your chemist again. I will only use ones were staff have asked if I pay for prescriptions.

   I had a blood pressure check done this week at the Asda Killingbeck Pharmacy, as a precautionary measure because some medication I am taking could increase my BP. I think the staff members name was Rohan, and he is one of the most professional, friendly and polite people you could meet. He explained the BP chart, what the numbers mean and also how to help lower BP if it's too high - no medical person has ever explained any of that to me. When I suggested buying a home monitor to take more regular readings, he explained the two types that were in stock, one of which I bought. Good luck in your career Rohan, you'll go far mate!

   Great pharmacy that is open until 9pm which is great for people that work regular hours. I was served very quickly and it only took a couple of minutes to receive my prescription. Would definitely use again.

   Had a very horrible experience with the white pharmacy attendant I saw yesterday morning(21/6/2024). Apparently, because she’d noticed I’d been coming frequently to buy a 15g antifungal cream, she refused to sell to me and instead chose to inform the pharmacist who expectedly agreed with her, no questions asked. It was after I asked why and informed them I was actually a GP, that he changed his mind. At this point I was over it. It’s not a steroid cream, neither is it an addictive one like codeine, so it didn't make sense to me. I'm reasonable enough to come to the conclusion on my own to see the GP if the cream was no longer effective as opposed to throwing money away. I was buying the cream for my child and any doctor will tell you that fungal infections take weeks-months to resolve, and they tend to be recurrent. And the interesting thing is I actually hadn’t seen this particular woman in about 6 weeks. The last two times I’d gone during this period, I was attended to by someone else and didn’t even get the cream one of these times as they were out of stock. I shouldn’t have to disclose my profession or medical information to purchase a relatively-safe over-the-counter cream just because I was coming too frequently for her liking. I’m absolutely convinced a white customer won’t have been treated the same way. Shameful really.

   Always rated this pharmacy. Sadly going downhill rapid , Total lack of stock on last three occasions, i have been given lame excuses about when stock will or maybe available ., let down each time, i have paid four visits for one item and still waiting after more than 21 days. Handy to shop whilst prescription is being processed but. TIME TO TRY TESCO NEXT TIME.
