Honestly they are absolute idiots in there. Stopped me buying a product off of the shelf that had no restrictions and didn't need a prescription. What a joke went to Methley and just bought it no questions. Won't be going back ever again.

⚠️ I had a disappointing experience at Wells Pharmacy (Castleford), where I was refused Migralieve based on completely inaccurate information — including the claim that it contained the same ingredients as Sumatriptan. Despite no clinical interaction between the two, the pharmacist doubled down on this misinformation rather than provide evidence-based advice. The handling of my concern felt dismissive and defensive, prioritising internal policy over patient care. Looking at other reviews, it’s clear my experience wasn’t unique. I’ve lost trust in this branch’s ability to offer safe, professional service and will be encouraging others to report similar incidents to the GPhC.

So far I've been waiting for delivery of my medication ,I've been waiting for 5 days now ,no point ringing up they don't answer the phone ,I did go to chemist on my motility scooter after receiving text to collect meds Only to be told they out for delivery

This place is an absolute joke!! I ordered my prescription on the 6th and Drs sent it over on the 7th tried ringing for hours to see if it was ready but no answer, I went to the pharmacy only to be lied to saying they'd not received it I went over to the Drs to find out what had happened only to be told they sent it over the day after they'd received it from me, bearing in mind this was 8 days later and it was for some nerve pain medication.The receptionist in the Drs told me I wasn't the only 1 and recommend I change pharmacist as she had done with her and her husband, I took her advice and I'm so glad I won't have to go back here again!!

My pain relief prescription was ordered on Monday 6/6/22 I was told it would be delivered on Thursday the 9th, for the second time this year no meds arrived, after 27 phone attemps to contact the pharmacy I gave up, today is Friday and looking at the opening times they're closed all day... "Well alright", well done. I can't understand why it takes four days for a prescription to travel ten yards across a car park from the doctors or in my case five (possibly more now), the staff are alright its the system that needs looking at in favour of the patients/customers and there's only one contact line, not good enough the system should include repeat prescriptions and on-line notification when they're due so the meds can be ordered in advance.
