Been targeted twice by the same member of staff by asking to check my bags as I would go in with a non Aldi bag when questioned him the second time he said it’s store policy when I said you targeted me before he didn’t even look in my bag when I brought this up to other members of staff got very defensive and even spoke to the manager and did not even resolve the issues so they can just target certain individuals and get away with it. Will not be shopping ever again in this Aldi.

Wimbledon store. Aldi reps, why did you bother to open store in Wimbledon if there is no enough produce? And empty shelves are stearing at you at 2pm afternoon? I pop in every so often any time of the day....but it's terrible.... Balham store is about same size but always packed...no empty shelves... ...but hey ho the store is only as good as is the manager....great dissapointment...Will have to carry my daily shopping from Balham....

I never usually leave negative reviews, but I honestly don’t understand one particular employee. Today, at around 5:30 PM, we wanted to pay with cash. Only one self-checkout and one regular checkout were open — the one operated by this employee. We waited for quite a while with our small trolley (not a big one, but it was full). When there was just one person in front of us and we tried to approach the till, the employee told us that the checkout was closed. So we stepped back in line, and indeed, the red light showed that the till was closed — so we thought everything was fine. However, the same employee continued serving other customers. When we approached again and asked why he had told us the till was closed, he gave a completely different answer — that he doesn’t serve customers with trolleys. But our trolley was small and full, and we had never had this issue before, even during busy evening hours when there’s usually only one cash checkout open. This same employee also keeps checking my bag every time I shop, and once he even told me that I should only have an ALDI bag, not any other one. I have never had such issues with any other staff members. The security staff are always very polite and friendly, but I find this employee’s attitude quite unpleasant. I shop at this store every day as it’s close to my home, and I truly hope this employee will read my comment and show more respect and consideration towards customers. I completely understand that the staff work hard, and I don’t expect overly friendly service, but I do expect fair and proper treatment.

I have been twice to this Aldi recently since they have been offering gluten free food in stock. Loved the Easter veg offers, plus good quality. Tidy store, easy to get around and find products. Both times used self serve, the staff members have been really friendly, cheery and helpful making it nice experience. Aldi head office please keep the gluten free food going as will be a regular in this store, instead of going to your rivals :)

I’ve come across the Christmas vegetable special ( cheap veg) While I was considering making a smoothie, it was great to check out the options they had since I was nearby.

A Asian door guard acting like a racist as I was force to get a trolley even I said I don't need it as I sm only buying 1 - 2 items. Only 1 at most times as I go to buy only needed food after work. Have seen him not to force on other customers.I tested him one day. Stayed outside and observed him. He forced most black and Asian customers to get a shopping trolley and not to others. Now a adays they check as well your bags. Seen many times kids stealing but they don't search them. Did mention it to persons on the floor but ignored me.

Aldi at Priory retail I have a mentally disabled son in a wheelchair with shopping bags at the back. When I shop I put shopping in a separate bag and then go to the till and scan goods and pay. I have always done that. I was paying the lady at the checkout asked if she could check my other bags at the back of the wheelchair I asked her why, she said the manager insisted they search all clients bags. I have never ever been searched. I’m 68 and felt embarrassed that they thought I had been stealing Is this a store policy

Please to share that Aldi prices have not increased as much as other supermarkets. The shop was quite busy but the staff managed it well. Shelves were full. No trolleys available. Security informed me that customers had dumped them in the carpark. The lines went quick.

Wednesday 1st March 2023 at 1120am only 4 self checkouts open and ten lanes closed!! Not vey good at all. We are paying much higher prices for products at the expense of poor customer services. Not acceptable. Some people decided to return their items as the experience put them off.

Real good value for your money particularly now when times are tough for many. Don't pass the filet steaks too fast, they are too good to miss for the price!
