   I went to this parcel shop after my tracking showed that my parcel had been delivered there. The owner insisted that the parcel was not there. When I tried to show him the tracking information, he refused to look at it. Instead, he became verbally aggressive, raised his voice at me, and spoke to me in a rude and disrespectful manner. He also mocked me and claimed that I didn’t understand English, despite speaking in broken English himself and switching to another language with the staff, who were laughing during the conversation. I felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe.

   I don’t live in the area but had to come for an appointment which was near this off license. I went to this shop (29/06/25 at around 6pm, maybe slightly after) today with my sister to buy some water and I ended up looking at the Coca Cola gummies as well. I am a Muslim so I was looking for the halal sign on the gummies and was double checking with my sister if they were halal certified or not, they were so I walked over to the tills to pay. The man serving me who was maybe either Turkish or Middle Eastern (had tattoos on his hands) asked me what I said about the gummies being halal and proceeded to ask why I’m so concerned about the halal certification if my hair is out (why am I not wearing hijab) and the way I’m dressed (wearing a vest). I was shocked as was my sister so we asked him to repeat himself and he did. I asked him what it had to do with him as I felt extremely offended and embarrassed. I explained to him that one sin doesn’t mean that I shouldn’t follow the major rules in religion. I proceeded to pay and left the shop. This random man has no right to comment on how I look or religion and should think twice before making strange comments. I will never be going there again and the owner of the shop should investigate this as this member of staff needs to learn some manners and learn what is appropriate conversation for a customer and what isn’t. This is exactly how a business will lose customers and make people, especially young women feel targeted and vulnerable. Please look into this to make a better shopping environment for other members of the public!

   Their items are always out of date and I always have an issue with parcel drop-offs. For example, my mail goes missing or they forget to scan the label or refuse to take my parcels. I would suggest going on a five minute walk to Arnos Grove Post Office where they take all parcels including Yodel, Evri etc.

   There are lots of off licenses in every corner. I like going here mainly because of thier customer service. Even if you just buy a coke, the service they offer is excellent as they are always friendly and there to help you.
