   This shop has a decent selection, however, more often than not it is basically impossible to access 30% of the things they sell. They use the aisles as storage so for the second time this months I needed something from a section that was just completely blocked off and no chance of reaching the product I wanted to buy. This can't be good for revenue but also seems like a fire safety risk. I think they had 8 pallets blocking many aisles and products the last time I went.

   No toilets, but McDonald's next door. Best shop in Croydon IMO. Old fashioned pound shop where everything actually is £1 (ok £1.25 and maybe not everything) BUT they stock the same things reliably from week to week, unlike most pound shops.

   Regret coming to this store, one of the few occasions where the Tooting store is far superior (I know right!) Staff are clearly fresh and with an attitude, customers are knock the displays without care, nor do the staff... They charge for all bags albeit the bigger bags (Tooting doesn't for the basic ones), got 1 min down the road handle splits and the I'm having to grab the body of the bag that leaves coloured prints all over my hand. I wouldn't mind the problems so much but the staff seem rude and do be honest the vibe was "I don't care I just want to see out my shift" even a simple smile or bye seemed impossible! Avoid this store like the plague. Manners don't cost a penny. Start humble.

   This is the worst place I have ever worked. They are treating too bad their employees. They hold my salary to for 15 days and they didn't give me even notice period. I never recommend anyone to work with Croydon branch.

   Sams 99p used to be up the road on Surrey Street but now they have moved here. The shop is bigger and better with a good variety. I liked the condiment section where they had lots of interesting sauces.
