We had a fantastic time doing the pirate-themed escape room at Escape Hunt Liverpool. The room was immersive, cleverly designed, and struck a great balance between challenging puzzles and enjoyable teamwork. The pirate theme was really well executed and kept us fully engaged throughout. A special mention has to go to Filip, who looked after us on the day. He was friendly, enthusiastic, and explained everything clearly at the start. His hints were perfectly timed and delivered in a way that didn’t spoil the experience but kept the momentum going. He genuinely added to the fun and made the whole experience even better. Also a thank you for rescuing us when we threw away a key! Would highly recommend this escape room to anyone looking for a fun, well-run activity in Liverpool — we’ll definitely be back to try another room! We loved it for News Years!

Eve was very good as a host. The only thing I’d say is she was maybe a little too quick to help. We would have liked a little longer with some of the puzzles to work out ourselves. So we could get that sense of achievement that we did it ourselves. Otherwise it was a great experience and we will be back.

Booked a small date day with the Mrs for the Alice in wonderland escape room just the two of us. We booked early in the day and arrived and was welcomed in by Dayna who was fantastic throughout. The room its self was amazing and well designed. We hadn’t done an escape room for a long time so it was tricky to start off but when you get going everything ticks. We absolutely loved our host Dayna and how interactive she was through giving hints and tips, she even had a Cheshire cat character voice when giving hints which added to the room. Absolutely fantastic morning, great host, great room. Will definitely be booking more rooms in the future. Dayna is credit to the business and makes you want to rebook!

We came here for my friends bday and she had a great time. Fyi the dock side entrance was closed so go to the city side, Google maps will tell you to go to the dock side. Really well thought out escape room with such cool theming we did the Alice in puzzland and it was such good fun they give you props to wear as well. Room was designed so well. The staff member that greeted us was Phil and he made the whole experience even better. From the moment we walked into the door he was in character and went the extra mile, you can tell he loves his job :) Thank you so much Phil. Big shout out to Dear and Natt too also worked so hard too and also really got into character. Thank you very much! We beat the escape room in 45 mins see if you can beat us!

Such a great experience. You get buzzed into the door and do have to go up stairs to get to the waiting area which is a little cosy. However, they have made good use of the area with tables and seating provided. There is also a bar where you can get a drink and a few tabletop games to keep you amused whilst you wait. The event rooms can be a little claustrophobic feeling due to a combination of the size of the rooms and how much is in them. However, if you are okay with that, it is a benefit as it gives you more puzzles (which are also suitable for children of approximately 8yrs and over to be able to join in with) to solve giving a better game experience. Unlike other escape rooms I have been to we didn't actually get locked in for the duration and we were told we could exit the room whenever we needed if we wanted to go to the toilet etc. The staff were very friendly and joked along with us getting into character of somebody you would expect to see in the room we chose. At the end there were a few novelty props for us to use to take our victory photo hats/headbands etc. which was s nice little extra touch. We would definitely go again.

Wow! What a wonderful (pun intended) experience. I woke up this morning in an energetic mood and knew i wanted to do some fun activity. I decided i would go to do an escape room! So i hopped on the bus and made my way to Albert Dock. Ive been to the escape room before and had an amazing experience so i decided to go again. Today, i was greeted by a beautiful young woman called Courtney. She was Welcoming and encouraging especially after i said i would tackle a room all on my own. I chose Alice In Puzzle land (hence the pun at the start if this review). Courtney was a wonderful host and guide in the room. And wow. How fast she is with those buttons!! A massive round of applause to Courtney and a thank you! Highly recommend this place. Will definitely be returning

We really enjoyed our experience here and it’s a great activity to do if you’re looking for something to do in Liverpool. We did the pirate room. Luke was our game master and explained the rules really well and we were allowed unlimited clues. The room was really well thought out and we enjoyed it and broke out in 43 minutes. Would highly recommend and will be coming back soon :)

Had an amazing time at ESCAPE HUNT, did the Fourth Samurai room and Black beards treasure on the same say. It was fun and full of clever brain teasers. The rooms had different aspects that made each one unique. We played with only two people and it was fun even without a big group. Courtney (Fourth Samurai) and Brooke (Blackbeards Treasure) our guides for each room were friendly and welcoming. Would definitely come back again. Fun for people of all ages

We did Blackbeard's Treasure escape room today having never been to one before. We had lots of fun and didn't get stuck there forever as I'd feared! Hannah and Remy were our games masters and they really made the game exciting! Thanks so much I'm sure we'll be back to try another.

I went to the Escape Hunt with a friend and we absolutely loved it. We did the Blackbeard Treasure room and our host was Hannah who was great. She was very kind and helpful. Afterwards and beforehand we had a small talk with her. After we left, we immediately decided to do another, the Vikings room this time. Our host for this room was Remy, who was also great. After both the Vikings and the Blackbeard room they took some pictures for us. Overall, 10/10. Hannah and Remy are great game hosts. I loved the escape rooms.
