Having no staff is a novel idea for a Tesco, but a little problematic when you're trying to buy an age restricted product and you have a train to catch. If I wasn't honest I could easily have walked without paying.

It has the basics. I'll go here if I need to but would rather go elsewhere. It's a small space and the layout is quite cramped and it's difficult to get around inside. This is made worse by having three or four staff members stocking shelves basically all the time, using big bulky carts and blocking the aisles, so you have to awkwardly squeeze past. Staff seem to not want you to be there and treat you like an annoying inconvenience. Often there's nobody on the checkouts and self-service checkouts are out of order, or there's only one working with a big queue that spills over and blocks more aisles.

Went to buy regular ferrero rocher and was out of stock. Smaller pack was available but no club card discount.

Regularly out of stock for the items needed, in particular fresh bread. Often have to queue when there are tills closed that could be open. Staff always appear to be filling the shelves in the middle of the day, making it difficult to get around the store easily. Previously shopped at a Sainsbury's Local which was considerably better.

Improvements would be if it opened until 11pm; had a cash machine, and was a bit bigger and had more space between aisles. There is a decent selection for a store this size and it always seems to be well-stocked on essentials. It can be pricey if you don't get deals. The staff and security guards are always nice.

Overpriced and never stocked with what most people would consider basics. Went in there at 7pm on a Sunday - nothing in the vegetable aisle except for a lonely bag of potatoes and an apple. Plenty of crisps (a whole aisle) and ready meals (a whole fridge) though! Not sure what kind of diet they think the local demographic lives on...

Staff are friendly however my main issue is that they are in a constant state of restocking. You will find yourself going through tiny aisles made worse by stacks of pallets which are blocking items as well, I have been here multiple times and it is always happening it will never end....
