This is a typical late night small store which sells a small but good selection of food and alcohol. Prices are reasonable.
One of the best off licence shops I've been too, good selection of sweet treats and staff are friendly every time.
Went here today to top up my gas and electric, I clearly asked for £80 on my gas and £30 on my electric. While I was getting the rest of the cash out of my purse I placed £110 on the counter. The cashier went ahead and topped up £80 on my electricity instead of the £30 I asked for to be on there. After he was done he then asked me for clarification on the amount where I said once again £30 to which he responded that he’s topped up £80 already. Then the cashier proceeds to tell me that he assumed because I had placed money on the counter I wanted that amount on the electricity which clearly is a lie because why would he double check afterwards if he had thought that’s what I wanted. He offered no solutions to the problem insisting that I should pay as there’s nothing he can do. This is absolutely ridiculous and disappointing leaving me short on my gas in this cold weather. The cashier then lied and said that’s why I asked for on “the key” which I don’t even refer to my electricity as in the first place. He held on to my money and the other items I was going to buy not even offering to rectify his mistake in any way or to offer a compensation. Extremely dissatisfied with the service, if the cashier was not sure he should have double checked before putting the money on not afterwards.

Staff are very helpful despite having problems trying to get my parcel qr code clicked but refused but the nice gentleman helped me what's gone wrong.and now problem resolved..thankyou crossway food & wine..
Shelfs are well stocked staff are nice, You can also collect and send back parcels from here.
Friendly staff, good facilities and is always stocked up which is good! However the 4-5 times I've come here at opening time (9am), it was closed. My advice is only try to come here in the middle of the day when you can be a bit more sure that it'll be open. If you make it here at opening time, you might be disappointed.
To be fair, I didn't spend much time in the shop. I visited the shop to return a package to Amazon, Crossway Food & Wine offers a simple and convenient way of returning items back to Amazon. All you need is the bar code and the helpful cashier take care of the rest. I was in and out of the shop 3 minutes. Awesome service
