First time here to see a Eagles tribute & we were pleasantly surprised. The building looks relatively modern from the outside. The interior is clean and well kept. The staff were helpful and friendly.
A very unpleasant and unwelcome welcome to the gym. Turned up to sign up and met with a hostile receptionist who was unwilling to support or accommodate an induction to the gym or even ask if it was possible. It was understood there was someone on site to support but they could not see me to complete an induction as I had not pre booked. This is disgraceful. For someone who has not been to the gym for a while due to body issues and weight gain who is looking to make a change and start taking health seriously this was a serious knock to confidence. It had left me ready to go, up dressed and ready to start a journey. To now frustrated, upset and disappointed. I understand and agree that inductions need to be completed, and would have understood if there was a delay to this. However to turn someone away when they are already nervous about going and to make what should be a calm and stress free zone into feeling attacked and left disappointed is awful. I have now booked onto an induction and hope that I can make this, due to my busy work schedule I can not always predict my timetable which is why I chose the gym over classes. This had now become a chore rather then what was hoping to be an enjoyable experience. Awful customer service. Hopefully this improves but a horrendous start.
Motown tribute act absolutely fantastic& going to book for 14/11/26 when they come again. Like watching the iriginal acts. Danced & sang all night. Place was spotless & staff very courteous. Recommend people to go there parking was only £1 to ensure car was safe until our return . Brilliant
Love it and go to the gym most days. Very friendly people, especially Helen who has helped me lots with the equipment . Lots of cardio and strength building machines along with free weights
Great gym but I recommend avoiding it when there are classes going on in the actual gym. The class music is so loud no one else in the gym can hear their own music above it and the timing beeper which goes off constantly is so loud you can probably hear it in the car park, really irritating.
Been here for a few comicons and wrestling events and its always spotlessly clean, well kept and has a great couple of bars as well!
Go daily. Excellent selection of classes and helpful friendly instructors. Unfortunately there is always something which doesn't work. Currently the two self booking in machines have not been working for two weeks resulting in long queues at the weekend.
Visited 16/02/2023, unfortunately no pics taken but great parking at back of building plus if validate car park ticket in the memorial court building then it gives 3hrs free parking so for the event I went to ended up only paying 20p - bargain! The hall inside is big, only downside is that the projector isn’t the clearest but still usable. The catering options offered were good and kept topped up with vegetarian options also. Overall good venue to use, recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great gym very welcoming to all ... experienced and newcomers alike. There's lots to offer in a very modern gym and pool setup. The Friendly staff make for a very pleasant experience.
