After receiving a missed call from this pharmacy I called 17 times over two days before someone answered. As a result of this I am 3 days late resuming my medication.

After checking in for my prescription was given a ticket and was told it would be ready to collect after having blood samples taken (around 20mins in total) still had to wait for a further 60-90 minutes before it was ready. On returning home checked the tablets they gave me and only enough for 3.5 days when there should have been enough for 25 days.

Was given a ticket number for my prescription and waited checking the board. Nearing the time of closing there were a couple of patients waiting outside, one was brought her prescription by a member of staff who turned around and then started to part close the shutters ready for closing. It was the same member of staff that I had spoken to less than an hour before about waiting for my prescription this afternoon, he abruptly told me the store was about to close. I explained I was still waiting for my prescription as the board had not indicated it was ready to collect yet. His manner was rude and patronising and he stated that I should have come in and collected the prescription. So what is the point of the ticket and board system then?? I was told I couldn’t have my prescription today so I asked what to do and I was told “come back tomorrow” I said I can’t come back tomorrow and the statement was merely repeated come back tomorrow…rather than reassuring that I could come any day to collect it. He managed to say Tomorrow or any other day after the third time of me saying I could not return tomorrow. He wasn’t listening to me at all. I was seen late in out-patients and have to travel a 3 hour round trip to get to Leeds. I have had to collect a prescription close to closing time before and previously and the staff didn’t behave like this. I have never been treated and spoken to so rudely. Things are difficult enough when you have cancer without a rude Boots employee speaking to you in such a patronising way

Usually an hour for routine prescriptions. Had one on order for collection for 7 days. Still not ready and took another hour! Never encountered such poor service from a chemist.

There are not enough staff, a two hour wait for prescriptions is cruel for the majority of customers. Who when sick and in pain is able to wait two hours? There isn't any decent seating apart from Costa on bexley ground floor. Seats are ok for 15 mins, not 2 hours.

As a long term cancer patient I’ve had various experiences with these, but in the past few months I’ve had exceptional service - especially from the bloke who answers the phone. He’s gone over and above the call of duty

Nice helpful staff service was quick, considering the chemist services a large hospital.
