   We have been going for over 2 years, starting when my son was 9 months old. We hope to continue right until he starts school! We have the most amazing time, it feels different to other preschool activities in that both parents and children are involved and part of a community. My son has thrived here and gained confidence in being outside, making fires, learning about bugs, animals and trees, chopping wood, making dens and making friends. It's amazing to see how calm and focussed he is at forest school, in comparison to the usual toddler chaos of emotions! Cannot recommend enough.

   Wild lives forest school has been an invaluable experience for the first years of my daughter’s life. She looks forward to the sessions every week and when we are on holiday she even asks to go to forest school! She has made her very first friends here and as a parent it’s given me an opportunity to connect with like minded parents(carers). The sessions are open ended with some suggested activities that you can do on your own time (or spend the entire session jumping in puddles), that’s the real beauty of the sessions it’s led by your child. Learning happens through play but Laura (forest school leader) is always at hand to give you extra information about any curiosities. For example last week she helped us look for mushrooms and talked to us about mushroom safety. If I had the choice I would send my daughter to forest school everyday!

   The most amazing time in the woods. We have spent 3 brilliant years playing and learning with Wild Lives. Laura is welcoming, accommodating and a joy to be around. My children have learnt new skills, made new friends and have cultivated their love for the outdoors. Wild Lives has become the favourite time of our week and is truly the best value for money in the children's group category. Thank you so much

   My 4yo and I loved our forest school session with Laura and Katie during half term. Den making, learning how to make a spark to start the fire, s’more and spinner making were particular favourites. Katie helped my son make his spinner even though the session had finished. Thanks both for making us so welcome, looking forward to coming back for Little Wild Ones throughout March ☺️

   We love Wild Lives Forest School in the Woods! Both of my children have enjoyed getting mucky mixing up feasts in the mud kitchen, chilling out in the hammocks and investigating all of the lovely activities Laura sets up. One of their favourite bits has to be sitting down at the end of a busy session with hot chocolate and yummy snacks cooked over the fire pit. As a parent I come away feeling inspired and appreciating the time spent outdoors in the lovely Warley Woods.
