Great park. Used frequently at weekends for kids football matches. Parking is limited so get there early if you're heading down for a match.

This is a lovely little park where you can find some sculptures that are part of the Irwell trail. (That whole trail is 33 miles).

Close park has Football pitches, Tennis courts a toddler playground a childrenβs playground. It has an outdoor gym, it also has a Crown Green Bowling Club with details and a phone number on to get information about the Green.

Nice park and recently renovated tennis court looks great. It's a shame that despite been finished months ago it's still locked. Is council waiting for winter to open it up? I Wonder how many people will use it in the future as you have to pay for using it as well. Was not public monies used for doing it up in the first place?

Close Park is a delightful area of sculpted land and wilderness. The land originally belonged to the Bealey Family who donated it to the public. There's a wonderful children's play area, a sensory garden, a huge field to walk dogs and there's also the ruins of Radcliffe Tower.

Great place to wander and rewind. Loads of diversity, River Irwell to one side and flowers trees all over. Interesting to see the flood defences in place and read about the areas history. There is a well equipped play area to occupy the kids. Well worth a visit.

The park has had good flood defences put in, which make the park more interesting. Now lockdown is over, the fields are in use with the footballers again. There are tennis courts open and playgrounds for young & older children. One can walk down to the river - but not fit or safe to go into (not recommended for safety reasons anyway with a danger of drowning). It is a nice park. It is near the very old centre of Radcliffe, with the medieval Manor and 12th century church to walk round.

Very impressed! Spent a lovely autumn afternoon here with the children, great playparks for smaller and older children too, had a great walk in the woods, very clean, no litter, looks like a great place for making dens. We will definitely be back!
