Virgin you have really let us down, arrived yesterday in Barbados,waited an hour for our luxury car, got to hotel and the room was not what I requested at the point of booking, managed to find a suitable room but told we will have to move hotels, they will charge me Β£726 for the pleasure of staying in a room I requested but that request was not forwarded to the hotel, I emailed the hotel six weeks ago to make sure we had what weβve paid for, the whole holiday so far is a disaster, Iβve got another booking next April for Grenada with upper class flights, Iβm thinking of cancelling!

We had a fantastic experience in store, weβd booked an appointment as there is quite a few of us. When we arrived we were greeted so warmly and welcoming by everyone. We were all quickly offered drinks with a big fuss being made of our little who was given snacks. We took some great photos with all of the amazing props, signs and decorations which all really helped build the mood and atmosphere for the holiday. Then we sat in a big comfortable booth where everyone could be involved. Natasha and everyone were so patient and knowledgable answering all our questions while looking at various different options. We never felt rushed or pressured, we had time to discuss everything before making the final choice. We all canβt speak highly enough of the branch everyone was so helpful and excited for us. It really is part of the whole experience of the holiday. weβve booked before with Virgin at Meadowhall and Iβm sure we will be booking more holidays through Virgin Meadowhall again as every time itβs fantastic.

If you like getting what you pay for when booking and don't like changes don't use this store. We had booked a special no expense spared holiday to Barbados to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Initially we booked 10 night stay at the Sandals Resort, however after short period we thought this resort might be a little lively for a couple of pensioners. We made a appointment to visit the store again to change our Hotel.On their recommendation we changed to the 02 Spa & Beech Club.We reminded them again our preference for adult only.We agreed a room type which they assured us was in the adult only block.After my own research it transpires our room is actually in the family block.Then we were told the adult block is fully booked. Now to the flights on the first visit we booked our seats in business class again on their recommendation, all done so i thought but no. I received a email informing me of a change to the return flight of 4 hours.Days later a change to our outbound flight of 4hours and a change of aircraft.So we then had to rebook our seats. All done no, checking our booking again they had changed aircraft again only this time they had allocated our seats splitting us up can you believe by now I'm really frustrated. Summing up we went into the store excited about our special holiday.With the changes and mistakes and the seat pantomime we are so disappointed we ever decided to put our trust in Virgin.

We spent nearly all our savings on a holiday next year. The experience of booking in store was actually good. We needed disability assistance, and we were told we would get a call soon after booking. However, I had to chase this up 4 times with no replies to emails or messages, plus making complaints by phone. Still with no replies and as this was causing undue stress, we were on the verge of cancelling, but gave Virgin another chance, even though their way of dealing with complaints was to throw freebies at us instead of sorting it out. Eventually we got this sorted out, so I decided to set up a direct debit to pay the balance off. I had problems doing this on the website and had no choice to use the online chat, which seems to consist of operators who don't introduce themselves, have no manners and are not helpful at all. I explained that we were already on the verge of cancelling, their reply was to offer to cancel the holiday. We couldn't get them to sort out their poor service and eventually we were left with no choice to cancel, at which point their only concern was that we would not get our deposit back, even though it was their doing! This company made a pre tax profit of Β£31.8 million in 2023, yet they wont admit to being wrong and return Β£400, which we are now out of pocket!! We will never book with them again.

Came in to the store to have a better understanding after going to other travel agents. Met with Natasha, who was so lovely can I add, and she went through various places, as well as gave recommendations of stuff to do and areas that go with what we wanted to do. Had an amazing experience and ended up booking a very amazing trip for our honeymoon! The deal was incredible. And Natasha made it so easy and comfortable to get exactly what we want!! Would highly recommend the store after not having as good of an experience for our honeymoon holiday elsewhere. And a big part of that was Natasha!

Fabulous service 5 star - we stopped by literally 30 mins before they closed to book a last minute weekend away to New York. Alison looked after us and booked us a great package with everything taken care of, our experience was 5 star well done Virgin Meadowhall.

I couldnβt recommend these guys more! I popped in a couple of weekends ago on a last min decision to book a trip to New York for my boyfriends birthday. The 2 gorgeous ladies couldnβt have been more helpful, friendly and accommodating! Even when I came back 20mins after booking in a panic because I forgot we were already away for the days Iβd booked; they changed it hassle free straight away! We will definitely be booking our trips through them in the future, especially being frequent travellers this is the best service from a travel agent I have ever received. Thankyou again, had a very emotional boyfriend this morning (happy tears) opening his present! I couldnβt be more grateful for your support in helping us create this amazing memory!
