Some moody women decided to record me and my pals while we was just there to go toilet and said we were harassing her but simply waiting for the toilet we did not ask her to record us and she did not ask us if she can record and then her colleague came over swearing at us we had done nothing wrong all we did was go to the toilet
My human rights were violated this is actually a criminal offence as she recorded me and my friends without our permission accusing us of harassing her even though we are good chaps me and my friends have been violated
Just did a payment at the till now, every time I try to shop nighttime its a nightmare. Seems to get better now but staff are absolutely terrible and arrogant, they keep telling you to go to the till while you’re still shopping 10-15min before Lidl closes, had a security following over the place once. At the till, you say hi good evening whatever, no reply, completely ignored. Had a bill of £50.09, gave £50.50 and found a 0.20 coin so I said I’ve got smaller, reply was she putted on the system and I was like it’s simple math… can’t you do that?! How can I trust people handling my money if they are dependent of a till to tell them a change?! Unbelievable. Every time I shop here I encounter a different surprise
Parking is good. But around 7 pm they are always short staffed. It happened several time i waited in a queue and they closed the till saying we need to queue again somewhere else. Self checkout is majority of the time closed by then. Mostly there would be one till for whole shop.
Nice shop, huge variety. Great selection of kids toys and sweets. Plenty of parking and great selection in the bakery. Only downside, security follows us every isle - we can’t even eat our chewing gum.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting a Lidl supermarket in my area. My experience with the store was excellent. The store was organized and well-stocked with a wide variety of products. I was able to find all of the items that I was looking for, including a few unexpected items that caught my eye. The staff were friendly and helpful and made sure that I had everything that I needed. I was particularly impressed with the wide selection of fresh produce and the competitive prices. The store had a good selection of name brand items, as well as their own private label products. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the quality of the Lidl private label products was excellent and that the prices were significantly lower than the name brand items. I was also impressed with the store’s commitment to sustainability. They had several eco-friendly products available, and I noticed that many of their products were labeled with information about their environmental impact. Overall, my experience with Lidl was a positive one. The store had a great selection of products, the prices were competitive, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Lidl to anyone looking for an affordable and sustainable shopping experience.
Went into the store quite late, it was fully stocked other than bakery understandably, the store was clean, staff polite and served with a smile. I'm not from Hornchurch, so wouldn't go on a regular basis but will definitely revisit if in the area again. Store has toilet facilities and a good amount of parking spaces.
A good sized Lidl's. Often a long queue at the tills due to a shortage of staff. Self service machines not user friendly and you can't take trolleys to them as too many items for the machines. Several other supermarkets in Hornchurch. It would have been better if they would have refurbished the cinema.
Reasonably busy as would be expected nearer Christmas, plenty of food stocked up in all the shelves, freezers and fridges, nothing seemed out of stock. Staff were stocking up the shelves as I shopped, not too big a queue on the tills operated by staff, I used the self service till which was empty at around 10am . Managed to browse around the shop at my own pace with no problems with over crowding .
