Richard organized a fantastic 3 week holiday of a lifetime for us to Australia via Dubai and Singapore. Everything from flights, transfers, hotels and car hire were well planned and just what we wanted. We will definitely use Hays Travel again.
Rang this morning to ask if you needed a visa to visit Mexico as I’ve never been before . Response was if you haven’t booked with us ask your tour operator as it’s up to the individual tour operator??? So tour operators make the decision on which visas are required for each country? Won’t be using Hayes travel if this is their customer service response probably because I haven’t booked (yet) with them. Rang TUI shop gave me the advice required straightaway within minutes and also advised me to keep checking Government website. Thanks TUI
Just got quoted £710 for one night at Radisson red hotel with 2 weeks parking. We paid about £250 last year with hays. Ended up booking myself on raddison website and got it for £322. Hays charging an extra £400 for 10 minutes work is disgusting and won’t be using them again
Awful experience. Went in the store to add over £3,000 worth of Canadian and USA dollars onto my pre-paid travel money card. Made three unsuccessful attempts to pay and agreed to return the next day to do so, as they were having issues with their payment machine. When I arrived home over £7,000 had gone out of my account without any explanation and no dollars had been added to my card. Took a week to get my money back. Won't be going in there again. This review would have been no stars, but I had to put a minimum of one.
We have just got back from the most amazing 2 weeks in Parissa, Santorini, staying at the best hotel I've ever been to-Tui Blue Meltemi. We didn't know the island but knew what we wanted with accommodation. Hays Travel's knowledgeable staff couldn't have done any better if they'd tried, it was absolutely perfect for my daughter and myself. I will always book our future holidays with yourselves. Hillsborough branch, Sheffield. Saw some late deals in the window & was quite keen to book one of them. There was a lady dealing with 2 customers & a male who had no one with him called me forward. I stated I was wanting to book a holiday to which he replied “oh, I thought it would be a quick question, I’m already on with something” Not happy with his response I still decided to wait. I became a little frustrated after waiting 15 minutes so asked him how long he would be, he couldn’t answer & his colleague responded with “I’m on a training course shortly”. I told him he’d lost a sale & that I would go elsewhere, I can’t believe what he was doing couldn’t wait a short while till he had dealt with me. Awful customer service means even though I like the look of their late deals, I will book elsewhere. The 1 Star is too much, should be -1 star.
Booked a last minute honeymoon with them. Our 1st choice ended up being all booked up by the time we had sorted out our COVID passports but they were extremely helpful in finding us an alternative, even calling us throughout to check on our progress. Will definitely use them again
Ordered foreign currency in plenty of time. I was told I'd receive a call if there were any problems. Went down to collect on the day I was told, informed there was a problem and it hadn't been sent. No communication from staff to inform me of this, had to be told on the day I was supposed to be collecting it, by staff in store!
