Initially started of as a great school but has gone downhill over the years and it isnt the heads of year to blame as they do an excellent job its the lack of teaching staff as the school shifts their focus completely on year 11 who they force to come in every single day of the week including holidays which must make parents wonder what they've been learning in lessons in school during school hours. I blame the slt and management as they are very dissmisive in anything parents complain about.

I had high expectations of this school as my son has been going there since it opened in Sept 2015. Although the school strives to achieve 'Outstanding' on the Ofsted reports, they go about doing it the wrong way. The teachers are very strict, almost robotic (Terminator types), they give detention for any reason they feel like, for as long as they feel like. Which has a terrible effect on the morale of the young children in their care. Children become depressed, feel like they are being bullied by teachers, lose sleep, become anxious and reserved. Some will come home and cry like they've never cried before, as if they had just lost their mother! I have personally known many staff members, who have lost weight and disconnected from their families due to the enormous workload, very long working hours and the pressure on them to maintain the 'Outstanding' Ofsted rating..... If your overweight and want to lose weight without going on a SlimFast diet, then get a job at Eden Boys School!....after a few months at the job, your family will mistakenly think Firoun has awoken, when you walk through the door! As for being a Muslim faith based school, i would disagree. The senior management, it seems, strive for the success in this world, maybe not so much for The HereAfter. Children are given detention during Jummah, or during Madrasah times, putting academic studies before Islamic studies. I'd like to add....alot, if not most of the reviews written, are by pupils currently at the school (probably written under supervision of teachers?... to get their detention reduced, maybe??)

This school is one of the best in the country, especially in attendance! We were the best school for attendance in the country! The teachers do everything for you, and this includes the head of years, Learning coordinators and all the subject teachers along with the SLT. This school prepares you for life after secondary school and gives a lot of life skills. The school creates many opportunities for the children including sports and extra-curricular activities. ALL of the problems are dealt with confidentiality and are fair with their judgements. The teachers work late into the night just for the betterment for our future. This school is the best!

Excellent! After the parents evening, I could genuinely feel that the teachers want the children to achieve and go forward. My son will be lucky to be taught by people that want him to succed.
