   My daughter attended foundations for just over 2 years, most of the staff are lovely and amazing with the children. The SENCO is a bit rubbish and my daughter didn’t get a lot of help, my daughter had a communication book and i was having to remind staff to write down what she has done/played with so i was able to communicate with her better (instructions from S&L). The management never updated my address properly on my invoices during the 2 years. The nativity production 2024 parents were not allowed to record or take pictures and were told that all parents would get a video emailed to them, 11 months on & i still don't have the video of daughter in her 1st proper nativity (I have asked the nursery multiple times & spoke to both the managers). The management staff do not have very good communication with the rest of the staff, I have never received an email i was promised 3 times. My daughter generally enjoyed her time there, she made a lot of friends, however she constantly reminds me that she was put on time out by a teacher when she was trying to play with them by putting her hands on their cheeks (I do not agree that putting 2-4yr olds on time out teaches them anything other than isolation). As stated before my daughter mostly enjoyed her time at the nursery but due to the laziness and poor communication of management I will not send my 2nd child to this nursery.

   My son has been attending Foundations Day Nursery for 18 months, and we are extremely pleased with the experience he has had so far. The most important aspect of any nursery setting is the staff. They are the ones who build a bond and foster a secure attachment with your child, and we chose this nursery because, from our very first visit, we could see how friendly, caring, and attentive the team is. They are consistently positive, engage with the children at their level, and ensure that all children feel safe and secure within the environment. My son is always happy both at drop-off and when we pick him up at the end of the day. As an early years professional myself, I was initially a little apprehensive, but the staff and management team have always been incredibly supportive and helpful. I highly recommend this nursery.

   Foundations is a great nursery and pre-school setting. My son Harry has enjoyed every minute attending for the last 3 and a half years. All the staff from baby unit up to pre-school have been so friendly and been a massive influence in his development and growth into who he is today. He's really enjoyed learning about life, including everything from Shapes and Numbers to Space and Insects. Will miss everyone when he leaves for Reception in September.

   Both my children started at Foundations Day Nursery when they were 9 months old. They truly love the time they spend there, the activities they do and how caring and supportive the staff is. My eldest soon will soon start reception and I can confidently say he will miss his time at Foundations Day. Absolutely recommended!

   My son has been going to Foundations since he was 9 months old, the staff are absolutely brilliant my son has come on in leaps and bounds since he started. The activities they do are excellent and they always keep you updated on your childs progress. I highly recommend foundations nursery nothing is ever too much trouble for them when it comes to the care of your child.

   Our son has been so happy at Foundations for the last three years. He loves going in every day. The friendly, caring staff do a great job of engaging the children with a wide variety of fun, creative activities to support their development. Communication with parents is excellent. It is very conveniently located near Selly Oak station for commuting into town.

   I can not recommend Foundations Day Nursery enough. All the staff are amazing, the management team are lovely. The nursery has a real family feel. Our children have always been very happy here, we have never had tears at drop off. At pick up we see them enjoying themselves before they realise we're there and we can tell how much they enjoy it. The staff build amazing bonds with the children and genuinely care about their development and well being. I honestly can't think of a bad word to say!

   A really fantastic nursery! The staff are lovely and knowledgeable. My two children attended this nursery from 10 months until they went to school. My younger one just started school in September 2020. All through the last 6 years (with my first and second), we have received excellent service and care. I always knew that they were in safe hands. If you are looking for a nursery for your children, this is the place to be.
