   I wanted to share my experience with this shop, as I’ve been using it for over a year for Evri parcel drop-offs. Throughout this time, I’ve always tried to be polite, but the owner has often spoken to me in a rude or raised tone. Today, I went in with a return packaged in an inside-out mailing bag (not a bin bag). I tried to explain this, but he wouldn’t listen and asked me to leave, saying I wasn’t welcome. He then told me I could drop the parcel “today only,” but that if I raised my voice in the future, I wouldn’t be allowed back. My 8-year-old daughter was with me, witnessed everything, and was extremely distressed — this incident has affected her mentally, and she was crying afterward. I’ve since spoken to friends and neighbours who told me they’ve had similar experiences with him, which made me realise I’m not the only one who has felt uncomfortable there. On previous visits, he has also spoken sharply to my children, telling them to “buy it” before they have even touched or looked at anything. I’m sharing this so others are aware of what I experienced. Based on my own visits and what I’ve been told by people I know, I would personally advise finding a different place for parcel drop-offs or shopping. I hope the shop reconsiders how customers — especially children — are spoken to.

   I had to give a star rating to write this review. I used this shop a year ago and there was a young lady behind the counter...not polite but not rude. I went to pick up an item today...and wow. The man behind the counter was so rude. I showed him my ID and went to put if back in my bag and he raised his voice saying "leave it..what do you think I'm going to eat you card" then rather than get my parcel he ignored me and served other people behind me. Do not have a customer facing job if you can't even pretend to be polite. DO NOT USE GO AND GET ABUSE SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

   What a horrible horrible man! So rude. Unhelpful! Been in a couple of times to use the Evri service, gave him the benefit of the doubt the first time but the second time he was even worse, said parcel wasn’t secure (which it was) and tried to force me to purchase tape at £2.99 from him. Will NEVER EVER step foot in that shop again!

   This is an up to date review on the current experience with this shop, as of July 2025. Maybe you previously had positive experience here but that’s simply not the case now. It’s listed as a EVRI affiliated parcel shop that should accept package less returns but it doesn’t. The customer service is non-existent as they refuse to accept packages or comply with EVRI policies. They are an EVRI parcel shop in name only but zero service. I dare you to return your parcel via this shop. See if it works.

   Very poor customer service. Whenever I walk in there . He's very rude. Not helpful. Says no to everything. Parcel return is not working. He gets very rude about it.asked me to pick parcels. Wouldn't help me. Shouts back his name is kumar kumar. When I asked for manager number or to speak refuses to give it. It like he doesn't like serving or helping people

   I used to be a regular customer but the shop Is going downhill. What is going on with the Lottery? Staff don’t mind taking your money but when paying out they claim the ‘scanner’ isn’t working?!!! When they do agree to pay out they hand you a bag of £1 coins to the value of your winnings (£20 in my case)? Staff then rudely ask ‘are you buying anything then?’ Talking to a regular customer like that? When I pointed out that this is a regular issue I got told to ‘use Tesco next door!!’ I’ve been a regular customer since 2013!! Totally shocked at how rude I was spoken to. Won’t be using again neither will my friends, family or neighbours who were also regulars too.

   Has a reduced section but I advise to leave alone as its months out of date even dairy items they will make someone really ill. Can't believe they can get away with it. Absolutely disgusting

   If I could give less than 1 star I would. Used to be a lovely shop where you were always greeted politely with a smile. Today was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a shop in Ashford. This man was rude and aggressive. I will never go back in this store and have reported the shop to Evri (Hermes)

   Definitely dropped £20 note in shop he claimed his cctv didn’t work haha. Plus wasted 20mins in there trying to deliver a parcel the machine wasn’t set up other customers wasting they’re time he probably can’t be boverd with the people who collect parcels maybe he Dosent profit so Dosent care avoid avoid avoid som many decent business going down do not help this one please
