   Sorry to say the staff are the absolute downfall of this store, it’s some of the most unprofessional behaviour I’ve seen in ‘customer service’. I’m the first to advocate for always treating staff with respect and courtesy but when you’re not even giving people basic manners like greeting and at least saying thank you at the end, then I’ll do the same. Seemed like staff were more interested in using the headsets to chat and laugh amongst themselves hence customers might as well be invisible or non-existent. I had to say excuse me about 3 times before the woman on the till gave me a bag because she was too busy socialising down the headset. She also started scanning stuff before people were even ready and that caused even more of a backlog than if she had enough sense to just wait a bit. If it wasn’t for the good prices and variety of products, I would really avoid if you can.

   I popped into Home Bargains on Hospital Road one Saturday to grab cleaning supplies and a few snacks. The prices were noticeably lower than supermarkets, which was a nice change. The shop felt fairly busy but the staff at the tills were polite and helpful. I got what I came for — plus found a few extra bits like a good‑value set of kitchen towels. Shelves were mostly well stocked, so I didn’t have to hunt too hard. Overall I left feeling I saved a decent amount compared to bigger stores. I’ll probably go back next time I need household essentials or cheap groceries.

   We purchased a hair dryer in Hounslow store. We gifted someone they opened gift infornt of everyone in that party. Dryer is missing in that box. We are so disappointed we went for exchange staff is not responding properly such a bad service and bad store I don’t want purchase again.

   Store is big which is great, good product selection at fair prices. The staff let it down… I saw a member of staff shout at a customer in front of me about looking at Tea towels. He was so rude and unprofessional. The staff on the tills that I have encountered are usually unresponsive and impolite, they dont greet you (which I think is just basic manners) and have not handed the receipt to me in my hand… again, I think this is disrespectful. If the staff changed their attitude then it would be better….

   Neatly stocked, clean and tidy store. We can see many good discounted items in seasonal basics.. Gardening items, household, toys, books, children's dresses, clocks, Pens, decorative items...many more.. Limited fruits and vegetables...

   Half the isles had no prices so naturally bought less than I would’ve had there been prices. An item I did pick up scanned through at a different price I let the cashier know this and she said so that’s not the price the till says the prices are being updated tomorrow. I said you have to sell it to me at the price shown and she said no. I didn’t want to kick up a fuss as you had one till open and a que but I’m a retail manager myself and I know how to give good customer service. The service I received was poor and rude. If she were my staff I’d fire her. Will not be going to this branch again.

   You get wide range of home, accessories, food and toy stuff! The prices here are cheaper compared to other super markets. You have other stores such as Aldi and Lidl near buy, so you can kind of do a quick comparison of products and go in for what ever offers you the best price before you buy

   Home Bargains is a retail chain selling brand name toiletries, food, toys, homewares and more at discounted prices. Home Bargains is a vast store with ample of parking space. The staff are friendly and they have a great selection of products on offer. The checkouts are very busy at peak hours and sometimes may delay you. It’s a good place to shop here as it is price friendly too.
