I despair at this place. Turned up for a flu jab.. booked online, multiple reminders sent.. you have my contact details but can't contact me to say there's no flu vaccine in stock? What a waste of time.

Went today to get 2 prescriptions that doctor had sent through. Staff were rude and told me had to wait until tomorrow night to collect as doctor put as repeats I explained my dads was new meds as he has sundowning to make him sleep. No help what so ever. I went to boots Wheatley hall Road and prescription for dad was done in minutes. Pleasant staff and great service at boots.

Every time they have been rude and unprofessional. I’ve had to hang around for two hours previously waiting for them to make up a prescription they said the didn’t receive. They in fact did receive it as I checked my NHS app and rang my doctors again to confirm. I need the medication to function and they make you wait as if it’s fun for them. Won’t be returning.

Visited today for advice regarding my 3 year old developing a rash/blisters on the soles of her feet. Was greeted by an older lady with blonde hair (didn't catch her name but will be returning to find out what it is so I can make a formal complaint). She asked what the problem was and after explaining that I would like some advice from a pharmacist she abruptly asked me in regards to what. I told her about the blisters and with a quick glance from too far away to actually properly make any kind of assessment she asked if my little girl had been walking on hot concrete. I stated that she definitely has not. She disappeared and came back advising that the pharmacist had advised we purchase clotrimazole cream as we had likely put shoes on our child that were too tight which had caused blisters. I stated that I would prefer him to actually take a quick look as I didn't think an anti-fungal cream was an appropriate treatment for it and she stormed off saying we would have to wait half an hour. Her attitude was appalling and as a nurse myself, I would never dream of dismissing a patients concerns like that. So many adverts urge people to take the pressure off their already overloaded Gp's by going to their pharmacist instead for minor issues but I can see why people are reluctant when women like her are working on the front desks and making people feel like she made us feel today. Understanding the pressures on these services, I would normally be happy to wait for as long as it takes but we really didn't feel comfortable in her presence after how rude and condescending she was so we decided to go to Sandringham pharmacy where we were greeted immediately by the pharmacist who paid attention to our concerns and made us feel listened to. He advised that it was likely an allergic rash and advised us to monitor and go back in if it got any worse throughout the day but just by taking 2 minutes out of his day to listen to us, he really put our mind at ease.

Poor service,,, most of the staff aren’t helpful, can be rude sometimes… takes so long to prepare the medications. If I have prescription that goes directly from the GP they say it will be ready after two days!!!! Ignoringhow urgent it is. Nearly all the time, medications aren’t available yet inspite being prescribed day before.. to order the repeat medicines it take’s minimum 3days. Today they put adverts in my bags saying it takes 7 days!!! My cousin takes medicines for uncontrolled BP but can be same 2-3 days to be available. The staff don’t show any sympathy to me or my wife who is chronic patient with chronic pain..this is unprofessional behaviour which isn’t acceptable at all with the duty of care standards set by the general pharmaceutical council and the general medical council…. One time I had to return the prescription 3 times to the doctor because of dose modification…. After waiting 2 days then they realised that the medicine isn’t available and another 2-3 days ( total 5-6 days) I wouldn’t recommend that pharmacy… my wife always not satisfied with that service at all… Go where else you will definitely find a better service..

Sadly it’s let down by a few people. I had to collect an urgent prescription for my wife that was sent to the Chemist early morning last Thursday. I was told by an assistant it wouldn’t be available until 6pm. I explained it was urgent and that’s why the doctor sent it ASAP. I asked her to clarify again that it wouldn’t be available until 6pm. “Yes she said, 6pm”. (That gave them 8 hours to dispense the item).i asked why as it only took Tesco 10 minutes to dispense a prescription 2 days ago, her reply was “well go to Tesco then......which from now on I will including for all my groceries...Nb.....I had to ask Gemma her name as she was the only one not wearing a name badge
