Nearby home, is a good supermarket, only that sometimes if you go in the evening you might be unlucky to find empty shelves, but in any case you find a good variety of products and sometimes good deals . Be aware of the parking, if you drive to Lidl Edgware remember always to register your car scanning the barcode from your receipt for free parking, otherwise you will get a parking fine.

A good sized Lidl which is well stocked. Has a good sized car park where I have always been able to find a parking space. Only issue, regularly at that store is that very few if any checkouts ares open when I get there to pay. Either I have to wait or request that a checkout is opened or more recently with the advent of self-checkout pay at one of these bays. Unfortunately if I have a large shop this can be problematic as the bay is not designed to cater for large number of items.

Very competitive prices and a large selection of foods and groceries always have offers and new products in the middle isle at bargain prices.

The Lidl in Edgware, located at 51-55 High Street, has mixed reviews from customers. Many shoppers appreciate the store for its affordability and wide range of products, including groceries, household items, and fresh produce. The store is open from 7 AM to 10 PM on weekdays and Saturdays, and from 11 AM to 5 PM on Sundays, making it convenient for a variety of shopping schedules. However, some customers have noted issues such as stock shortages on essential items like milk, eggs, and bread, as well as problems with the car park, which is said to have numerous potholes. Additionally, the preference for self-service tills over staffed checkouts has been mentioned as a point of inconvenience for some shoppers. Overall, while Lidl Edgware is valued for its competitive prices and diverse product range, improvements in inventory management and customer service could enhance the shopping experience. If you're looking for an affordable supermarket with a good variety of products, it can be a good choice, but be prepared for potential inconveniences.

It's a new store, very friendly and helpful staff and they actually have more than one till open which is surprising for lidl. Plenty of parking spaces and shelves were well stocked.

I like how they have expanded the place. However sometimes some products branding or quality may be changed. There are self checkouts. The queues can be unnecessary long and overcrowded. In all my mum loves this place

Because there were no open tills, I was waiting in the queue for self-checkouts with a basket full of shoppings. A female member of staff shouted at me probably trying to tell that my basket had too much stuff for self checkout in a very broken English. I said βno open tillsβ. She directed me to till number 2. I went there and waited for 10 minutes. Then, till number 4 opened with new customers barging in a fresh long queue. I had to abandon my shopping and leave. I suggest if your staff want to be dismissive and rude in their interactions with customers, they had better find a different industry instead of retail. UPDATE: In my last shopping, first till 5 opened. I put my shopping on the belt. Then, change of mindsβ¦ Till 5 closed and till 4 opened. I was asked to transfer all the goods from 5 to 4. My every week shopping which costs about Β£60 cost Β£116. I thought cost of life crisis started biting. When I checked the receipt carefully, I was shocked to see that I was charged for 43 packs of falafel and 6 packs of lettuce. When I went back to ask for a refund, I had to wait half an hour to find a member of staff who is knowledgeable enough to see what might have gone wrong. Then, it was understood that β43β the code for mango was entered as the quantity for falafel. Similar thing happened for the lettuce, too. I had to wait 24 hours to get my Β£53. Waste of time and moneyβ¦ that is itβ¦ I will never return here. Believe me prices are not cheaper anymore. You can experiment trying a weekly shopping in a major supermarket, the bill will not be any higher. Some individual products might have cheaper price tags in Lidl but the final amount that will hit you at the till is the same in any other major supermarket.
