If I could give them zero stars I would. I've just moved to Rotherham and thought boots would be the best pharmacy to use for my nomad prescriptions, on collecting my first set they have flatly refused to put them into nomad packs even though the prescription was sent through in the correct format to do so. I feel terribly let down by boots Pharmacy and the absolutely unhelpful staff

One Star because i can't give less. For 3 years I've put up with the staffs laziness and their surly attitude from today I've changed my pharmacy. Frequently they haven't made up my mother's Nomads even several days after the repeat prescription has been sent through from the GP. When it has been made up it hasn't been checked. When it's been checked it can't be found. But it's only the prescriptions that are keeping the branch open and the staff employed, if you want to shop at Boots this isn't the first branch you'd think of, there are plenty that are bigger, actually have parking, are more vibrant and customer-oriented.

I had to collection for a 100ml of aftershave and only received 10ml. Couldn’t claim back as they said it has been packed correctly. Would not recommend

Wish I could leave 0 stars. Woman that works here (older, name beginning with J, curly asymmetrical hair) is vile. So rude, no customer service at all. Tried to collect a prescription too be told it wasn't available and they tried phoning me but I didn't answer. I was probably at work if that's the case but no voicemail to inform me of the issue. I asked why no voicemail was left and didn't get an answer. Then I had a private prescription to collect issued via Westfield Health. She tried charging me over £16. I asked why it was more expensive and was told I pay for the item not the prescription. Fair enough. I asked if there was an over the counter alternative and there was - priced at £6.99. I asked why she had not offered that as an alternative. The pharmacist appeared from the back room to tell me she was going to offer that. I said she was not and that she'd already asked me for the higher price. He started to argue with me and an elderly lady in the queue behind me stepped up and said she heard and saw everything and that I was telling the truth and she would back me up. I told the pharmacist that when someone walks in there they are trusting them to give them help and have their best interests, that this is clearly not the case here. The woman told me that the reason the other drug was more expensive is because it was 150 doses on the prescription. The pharmacist gave me a copy of my private prescription and the dose on the prescription and the item I was sold is EXACTLY THE SAME. I will NEVER set foot in this shop again. How many times have they ripped off people here? How many people have been made to feel the way I was today? Are they getting more money immorally from elderly and other vulnerable people living in our community? Visit this shop and judge the attitude for yourselves. I would like to add this was not the usual pharmacist that I have seen in the past - he was always very polite. My prescriptions will now be collected elsewhere.

Boots the chemist? You can't go wrong and what's more the pharmacists know their stuff. Advice is free. The staff are very knowledgeable.

I couldn't get my usual insulin needles and the staff at Boots were really helpful and friendly. They contacted my doctors surgery and got an alternative for me within a couple of days.
