Booked a flu jab for me and my wife, they then cancelled both appointments 6 hours later. Useless, don’t bother.

Went in last night after ordering an emergency prescription for insulin as we are visiting the area. I got their 10 min before closing. I told the lady that I had a prescription sent over yesterday but after no response I’ve had to call nhs 111 to manually resend a prescription. She said that yesterday they tried to contact me my number was invalid which is not true. I said ok well they have resent the prescription she then said that oh nhs 111 had reject the prescription! I said it’s not possible insulin is a serious medication which I need to survive. So I said let me call them while you’re here and we can ask them. I got through to nhs 111 who confirmed no such thing had happened and the operator asked to speak to the dispenser she totally ignored us shut the shutter and said β€œI don’t care I have to go home to my kids” ignored our please for help and walked of with another lady who I believe could possibly be the pharmacist I’m in shock and disgusted and still shaking! I have reported this all to pals and they will be opening an investigation. Seeing the reviews for this pharmacy just explains it all. Some people don’t deserve jobs in these sectors!

Get any help you need anywhere else but here went in explained after speaking last night I needed emergency medication and they said with evidence they would provide and I double checked explaining I outside england but in the uk they said It would be OK. Come in today. The pharmacist took my query then for 10 to 15 minutes ignored me and went into the side office where there were 2 other staff and decided to do something else ill assume not to serious since I could here them laughing. She then comes back takes another 10 minutes to check whatever she is checking then says she wont do it as I don't live im England explained that it didn't make sense its all the nhs I even had the patient record summary for enlgand she wanted refused point blank to accept it. Seems to be she couldn't be bothered to help as they were busy as I could here them telling people who ordered repeats in advance not to come back until after 2 as they were busy. I'll say it myself they were busy doing nothing and laughing which isn't bad considered they opened at 9 pharmacist didn't show up till 10 Save yourself from this pharmacy and go to one who actually will want to help you

I attended the pharmacist a few days ago for a few reasons. 1. To get some nurofen plus for my husband 2. To speak to a pharmacist about a bite on my leg. I can only assume the man behind the counter thought I was someone else because after I asked for the tablets he said something about selling them to me a lot and they wouldn't sell them to me ever again (I have literally been there twice in the last four months, and not for well over a year before that, but have a lot of relatives in the area and we do all look similar? anyway...), to which I just kept replying "yes" because I have autism and he made me feel so uncomfortable that I just wanted the situation over with. I then asked him if I could speak to a pharmacist, to which I heard him say (and everyone else waiting, too) that I wanted to speak to her about a drug issue I had and wasn't happy about being refused meds in the future! He didn't bother asking me what it was about because he had clearly labeled me a drug addict. I have never been so embarrassed in my life. I was there to speak about a spider bite on my leg that is infected, to which I believe they thought was an injection site. When in the room I was stimming (rocking back and forth- a self soothing technique) because I have autism and was so uncomfortable, the pharmacist asked me if I was unwell because I was stimming. The entire process was painful and embarrassing, and I will never be setting foot in the Asda store, or that pharmacy, ever again. I am absolutely mortified by how I was treated and I think it is completely unacceptable.

Terrible service, I was embarrassed by the pharmacist in front of several customers, my issue should have been dealt with in a privacy room which wasn't even offered to me. The staff especially one of them was very rude. The pharmacist even questioned how I new so much a bout a certain drug even though I hadn't taken it before. Never again will I got to these amateurs. Poor service all round.

Huge queue of people today, at least 15. 3 working behind the counter. Didn't even acknowledge anyone, casually carried on chatting about holidays they have booked. We queued for nonprescription items but ended up going somewhere else as it was clear they weren't going to serve anyone in a timely manner and the queue was just getting bigger by the minute

They made an error with the prescription. On returning the incorrect tablets they didn't have the correct ones in stock. Four days later I was told they still didn't have them and it would be another four or five days 'probably'. Ended up going elsewhere with an emergency prescription instead. The customer service skills of some of the staff need improving.

Pharmacists make you feel like a complete inconvenience. Had the misfortune of seeing the same lady there twice in recent weeks, so not just caught on an "off day". I have a complete understanding and respect for the NHS/cost of medicines (work in a similar field myself ) and am very appreciative that many do try get out of paying for prescriptions without valid reason. Perhaps I would have received a more friendly service had I not come with my valid maternity exemption certificate in my hand! Judgemental, unfriendly, unhelpful.
