Security is more bothered to stand there talking to the man colleague at the tills in his own language . Then had his AirPod in which again he was more bothered speaking on that , not professional at all! No wonder so many people boast about being able to steal items from here.
The manager he refused a refund and fobbed me off to a customer service which is out of hours, automated and they cant view the problem, for a food item that was disatisfactory in its quality, on the grounds of "they cant gurentee its been kept in the fridge". Frankly, that statement is invalid as the item im returning shouldnt be restocked for customer purchase, but completly discarded. The image and quality of it is poor, hence the reason for my refund request. I had a valid in-date reciept and as a customer i have the right to request for a refund. Perhaps if i had made a scene he would have issued me my refund....
Good stocking, I always find what I need. It will be good if all the self check outs work, as its every time a que there.
Well stocked. Loads of special offers and great for parking. DONT forget to register your number plate when you park in their car park
What a nightmare! What a state this store is in, looks like it needs a good clean, very little in the way if vegetables, some of the cold meat looked very murky indeed, a lot of empty shelves, long queues at checkout, trolleys outside just chucked everywhere. One good point is the bread was fresh!
My mum & i shopped here this eve (8/12/22) and was helped by an extremely helpful young man - Karan, who was great as we had a couple of issues with the till. There was another lady on the next till who had a special needs child with her and he helped her too, packing her shopping in her trolly. This young man is an asset to your organisation and if there’s Employee of the Month, he should seriously be considered. He was so cheerful, friendly and super helpful. New Lidl store in Sutton borough. Very convenient for the local people. This site was long been underused by another supermarket support chain CO-OP, which could not survive in the business due to under performance. Lidl is doing well doing since the very first day of the opening. It also added value for the other local businesses. Free car park for the customers, but don’t forget to validate your 90 minutes free parking through the machines on the packing bench.
New to this type of budget supermarket so was quite surprised to find the prices are vastly lower than the larger and more well known superstores. A significant amount of money could be saved here on a weekly shop. Quality is also very good. Car park could be larger and, importantly, you must remember to scan your receipt and enter your registration number before you leave to avoid a parking fine
