This is the third Maxx store I've visited. I was interested in shoes—men's, women's, and children's. They have good deals on shoes and styles. However, today I found a pair consisting of two right sneakers. I've never seen such a mess in a shoe department before. All the shoe sizes are mixed up, and women's, men's, and children's shoes are all mixed up. Although there are proper markings, no one follows them. The department's employees stroll back and forth, while customers happily scatter shoes. I like the English! The English think someone will come and steal the mess they make. So the store is lucky – the employees have a lot of work ahead of them.

Fairly large store with broad range but again as TK Maxx limited sizes and styles. Was able to purchase the holiday clobber I was after. Queue was not too bad with the cash desk. Easy to park

Love a TKMax.My motto for here is,if you see it,like it,get it.It will not be there if you go back for it.I love a b&m but sometimes you just need a lift, something different to look at rather than storage boxes.

I rarely leave bad reviews, but our experience at TK Maxx was uncomfortable enough that I feel it’s worth sharing. I visited the store with my sister and her 5 month old baby. What started as a normal shopping trip quickly turned strange. After about 30 minutes, my sister mentioned she felt uncomfortable because a staff member was staring at her. At first, we dismissed it as maybe she was just looking at the baby. But we soon noticed that multiple staff members seemed to be watching us, speaking into their headsets while making direct eye contact with us, which felt very pointed and invasive. When we went to try on clothes, a staff member abruptly barged past us and said “HELLO” in a passive-aggressive tone, not the kind of greeting you expect from customer service. She told us there was a 10 item limit for the changing rooms, which is fine, but she made a big deal out of it in a way that felt unnecessarily intense, especially since we’ve used the changing rooms at this location multiple times before and have never had our items counted or been spoken to like that. My sister had 11 items, so she handed over 10 and went to return the extra one to the rack where she got it. Instead of allowing her to do that, the same staff member stopped her and demanded she bring the item back, only to then sarcastically point out “well those are the dresses,” as if she’d given my sister chance to walk to the right section. The tone was unnecessarily rude and condescending. To top it off, my sister tried to move her baby’s pram just in front of the disabled changing room to keep it out of the way (not to block or use it), and was once again shouted at. It felt like everything we did was being monitored and questioned. We left feeling watched, judged, and completely unwelcome. I understand that retail work can be challenging, but there’s a way to enforce store policies without being rude or making customers feel uncomfortable. This kind of behaviour, especially directed toward a young mum with her baby is unacceptable. I hope the staff involved receive training on how to interact with the public in a respectful and professional way.

It's something of an Aladdin's cave come lucky dip. You can't go in with a set idea of a specific item and can come out with something completely different that catches your eyes. Cookware is usually very good with some bargains and some quite expensive.

At Tk maxx Cheadle Yesterday 09/03/23 was my first time in the store and it was a lovely experience. A young approachable staff member (Joanna) by name served me. She was helpful and pleasant with a good sense humour. I will always come back and recommend your store..

Great store but sadly the staff look so miserable. I asked a couple of them for help and they answered as if they were hating every minute being there. It was the same in the tills. The young man upstairs was actually quite rude. This has happened a few times now so I won't be returning.

Staff so rude. Desperately in need of customer service training. My one star is for the selection of items. Picked up all the things I’d been wanting. But the staff are just diabolical. Rude young girls on the till shouting at customers and just being plain unfriendly. Big companies like this really need to stop hiring young people
