   I’ve previously left feedback in regards this pharmacy when it was in the small building next door and that time it was 5* however having now had a fair few negative experiences since the pharmacy moved into the doctors surgery I’ve now decided to leave only a 2* negative review. This is because 1) my prescription is never ready regardless of how long I leave it! 2) having supposedly changed to delivery. It ended up with non of us having our prescriptions delivered! 3) my prescription was signed off by the doctors on 18th December 2024 (so a good week before Xmas!) It’s now 6th January 2025 and still there’s no sign of delivery! Very, very bad service especially as my father is 87 years old and is also waiting for delivery of his medication that was ordered well before Xmas! If John Dents aren’t able to deliver this service then just say so! *********************************************** I believe in being fair so I’m after another year of using Dents Chemist on Windermere Rd I’m now re reviewing my post on here. In the last year after my negative review I’ve got to say the service has improved greatly. I’ve only had to telephone once about my medication being missed and it was put in with the next batch. I ordered my medication through the NHS app which goes to the doctors so I have record of whether and when the doctors have sent the prescription to the chemist and I must say that Dents are now on the ball and I’m getting our medication quickly and without issue. I appreciate that when a business changes there are often teething problems in a new venue and with new staff members joining so maybe this was the problem last year but I must say that the service is more back to how it was previously in the other shop. Thank you Dents for getting back on track and here’s to another fuss free year in 2026!

   Excellent Chemist, the staff are always polite and always explain everything you need to know. Fair enough it sometimes takes awhile to get your perscription but that is the same anywhere you go.

   Used to be the best chemist around when Austin and the ladies ran it next door but since it moved into the doctors and got the younger people running it it’s really become poor. Longer waiting times for your medication, lost prescriptions, other people’s medications mixed in with yours and waiting for a delivery can take 3-4 weeks!! Not good enough Dents. What’s happened??

   I thought the chemist being inside the waiting area of the surgery would mean staff were going to take alternative dinner hours.. But no. Still closed for a full hour everyday! I'm sorry but it's the only thing that let's it down for me. Staff have always been friendly and accommodating but not being able to pick up at lunch time is ridiculous for other workers. That have no alternative, Especially when you desperately need to pick up a new prescription just written. This is the only thing I think should change. The hours on their Google search results don't state a dinner hour closure either.

   Sadly had to stop driving before Christmas, so,have to rely on other ways of transport to get to pharmacy. Just decided to move pharmacies for convenience. Will miss friendly efficient staff,deffo best chemist in Chesterfield!!

   Excellent chemist with lovely staff who go above and beyond to help you, any issues you may have with regards to your medication the staff are always more than happy to help you out as well as answer any of your questions, the pharmacists Austin has always been extremely helpful when it comes to getting me certain brands of medication due to my body have bad reactions to certain brands, can't praise the staff and store enough for all their hard work and customer service they provide, personally I have always had 10 out of 10 customer satisfaction every time I have visited the store.

   For months it's been protocol for people to que up outside and today I decided to go walk my dog to get my mental health medication. On arriving I discovered they have moved building to within the doctor's surgery. Obviously I cannot go in with my dog and there is nowhere suitable to tie him up so I thought I would call the surgery and ask them if they could possibly bring it 10 yards to the door. The lady who answered was immediately rude and stated that they can't as they are too busy, I tried to explain that I had walked over a mile and that the medication was very important for my immediate mental health. All I got was a "it's not my problem" attitude and information that they had moved almost a month ago before hanging up on me! If they had perhaps considered that people would still believe they couldn't go inside and had to wait outdoors for prescriptions then a sensible move would have been to inform people with a sign or even face to face communication in the run in to the move. (Ideally just over a month beforehand as most people collect their medication monthly). It would have been just the same circumstance with masks. Not needed before when waiting outside, now needed as they have moved indoors but have failed to correctly inform people. That was an oversight on behalf of the pharmacy, not the customers. That doesn't warrant rude behaviour, no manners whatsoever and having the nerve to hang up on someone as they are attempting to explain the importance of receiving anti psychotic medication today. That was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a pharmacy. I finally got my medication brought out to me, almost thrown at me before a further dose of rudeness. Awful experience.

   All of the staff are so friendly and helpful. They always go out of their way to ensure you get the best service. They are doing such a great job in the current hard times to prevent delays
