Excellent local pharmacy that has improved immensely in recent times. The prescription service seems much more organised, turn-around times are very fast and tge text messages for collecting are just perfect. Great place, great staff.
I moved to this pharmacy as my prescription was never ready at my previous pharmacy.The experience could not be more different. My prescription is always ready with no missing items, all the staff are professional and friendly. I even got my flu jab having called in to collect my prescription, no booking, no waiting, no fuss. I really couldn’t recommend high enough.
Since Lloyds departed, and thank goodness they did, this independent pharmacy is now excellent; the staff are fabulous, and I never have problems collecting prescriptions. The pharmacist is always pleased to give advice. Well done, guys, and thanks for your continued support to our community.
Everyone with whom I have dealt at this pharmacy is outstanding. However I feel I must commend a young lady by the name of Jodie, she is a model of courtesy and goes over and beyond her duties. Kind, understanding and so very helpful. Thank you Jodie for your help and patience.
I'm a tolerant person generally but I have to agree with the other reviews. I would avoid using this pharmacy at all costs, the staff are inefficient and rude and never answer the phone. I've now switched to Lloyds Online for my prescriptions.
This pharmacy is completely unreliable. It's always closed for long periods at random because of staffing issue. Clearly something need resolving. When it does open the queues are out of the door and up the road because nobody has been able to get their prescriptions.
Shambles. Often a long wait time to collect a prescription. The last two times I’ve visited they have been closed except for “urgent” prescriptions with a sign asking you to knock if you have an “urgent” prescription. Often are closed due to no pharmacist (!) Not open on weekends. Today they claim not to have received a script that was issued by my doctor 8 working days ago. To their credit they did issue an emergency script but told me to call my doctors to check they had issued it. My doctors confirmed they have issued it so I will be avoiding this pharmacy in future. It’s a lot of stress and faff for what is generally a seamless process at all other pharmacies. Staff have generally been very pleasant and attentive, it just feels like it’s poorly run.
This place is so mismanaged its unreal. Very long wait times and a queue every day, no matter what time you go. We were told by the rather rude staff that we should have phoned before hand to make sure the prescription was in and we then overheard the staff joking in the back that they have a policy of not answering the phone. This was the 3rd attenpt to pick up a basic prescription. The pharmacy phone rang at least 10 times whilst we waited for our prescription and none of the 4-5 staff present answered the phone. This is absolutely unacceptable behaviour. Don't use this joke of a pharmacy.
Sent my prescription from Lloyds Direct to this pharmacy as I needed it urgently and I thought this would be quicker. My partner went twice to collect and was told both times they hadn't received the prescription. As proof they hadn't received it, they printed out the email that stated it had been sent to them! Luckily I got my GP to resend the prescription to somewhere competent, but had to spend an extra day feeling poorly without my antibiotics because of this place!
