Took my son for covid & flu jabs. It was a really quick efficient process. Very friendly too.

I can’t speak highly enough of this pharmacy and the delivery service. I recommended them to my elderly friend who has a complex selection of medicines and she is delighted with the service too. So helpful in every respect, from pharmacy staff to the delivery drivers and nothing is too much trouble

This pharmacy offers an excellent delivery service. I got my meds the same day as I requested them online from my GP. The delivery driver is fantastic. He is so helpful and always friendly and cheerful. I thoroughly recommend this service.

I made an appointment for a private flu vaccination via the app on Thursday 7 December 2023 at a cost of £15. The appointment was scheduled for 3.50PM on Friday 8 December 2023. The app notification was showing as pending throughout the day on Friday. I therefore contacted the pharmacy by telephone and was informed that there was a glitch with the app and there was nobody to administer vaccinations on Thursdays or Fridays, and that your price was in fact £10. The person I spoke to confirmed that they would contact head office and request a refund be added to my bank account and that they would contact me once this was done. I did not receive a phone call. I therefore contacted the pharmacy again and was informed by another member of staff that the refund had been processed. I was not asked for any bank details on the call and was not informed as to how long the refund process would take. It is now Saturday 16 December and I have still not been refunded. I’ve sent an email and have attempted to call a number of times, but nothing has been done to reimburse me. Quite frankly this has been an utter shambles from beginning to end. Avoid this place.

Just collected my prescription form here and I’d highly rate. I usually order from an online service but they were delayed, my closest pharmacy was out of stock but Whitworth filled it out immediately with great service!

I use this pharmacy often and without problems. The staff are very helpful, friendly and provide good customer service. However, I was quite disappointed today. I had bought a bottle of ibuprofen for our son yesterday. The male staff member handed it to me from behind the counter. If I can grab products from the shelves myself I always check use by dates. However, this is a bit different now, owing to covid restrictions in shops with the emphasis on taking what is passed to you and trying not to linger too long in the shop. When I checked this morning I noticed there were only two months left before the use by date of September 2021. I thought it was a bit cheeky to sell something without asking the customer if such a short date was acceptable. Ibuprofen is not the kind of medicine kids need to take every single day meaning I would likely end up wasting most of it as it is. I went back to the shop and explained. One staff member said I should have checked the date before purchase. Fair enough that I didn't train my eagle eyes on the bottom of package (the location of the use by date) when I was given it at the time of purchase. However, I think I naturally trusted that I would be provided with something with a longer date on it. Why would I have any doubt? They insisted there would be no problem with using it as it was still in date which is true but I cannot understand why such short dated medicines are sold without expressly informing the customers which in my opinion would represent better customer service. In addition, I received no apology at all. Some people aren't concerned with use by dates but I think they are even more significant where medicine is concerned. Even Tesco online shopping ask if it is ok to continue with purchases if products are close to their use by date when a delivery comes. I was very disappointed. I felt like the staff attitudes were questionable, that I had been wrong to instinctively trust local customer service and that I was somehow being punished for doing so. Afterwards, they changed the bottle for one with a use by date in 2023 and said they generally don't sell such long dated products unless we notice these problems. So, please, always check the dates when you are given any medicine by this pharmacy in case it has a similarly short use by date. Perhaps if customers could grab medicines and check the dates ourselves, this would be less likely to occur, But I was disappointed by this transaction and would prefer to be leaving no stars on this occasion, if that option existed.

I would leave zero stars if I could, terrible customer service. Despite being in desperate need for my prescription they made me return to my doctors to change a minor detail on my prescription despite having full records on file of my previous prescriptions. The staff were rude and wouldn't hold on a few minutes for me to return to the pharmacy before closing up. The staff even stood by winding the shutters down in front of me without even an apology.

To sum it up nicely, they are friendly and efficient. I would genuinely recommend them... especially when compared to the alternative provider on Crookes main street.
