Lovely little drive up to the showroom. Was looking for a nice one piece cue. Got to try a few out and Bex helped pick the right cue for me and even gave me a little coaching!

I've both bought a cue here & had some tutoring from Rebecca Kenna and both have been great experiences, but I'll focus more on the tutoring as that is more recent. I had two 2 hour sessions and the first session went over some of the key observations on my technique and what I could do better. We went through a range of shot types, focusing mainly on manipulating the cue ball while potting the object ball and making sure that my technique remained correct. I also came away with a number of practices I could do that were focusing on what I needed to improve. On the second session around 2 months later, we focused on checking progress & doing micro adjustments to my technique which should help further. The whole experience was very rewarding and Rebecca is an excellent coach. She's clear, calm and very patient - taking time to make sure that I understood not just the "how", but also the "why". I would recommend Rebecca to absolutely anyone who was considering snooker tutoring. In my specific case, I'm an amateur who would rarely see breaks above 4-5 balls, with my max break of 23. However, while working through a line-up routine during the second session I nearly doubled that with a break of 40. It's been a fantastic experience and I feel massively more optimistic about my chances of improving. I could not have spent those 4 hours better if my goal was to improve at snooker!

Bought a cue and case that I tried whilst I was there with the owner but decided to swap for another on the rack that had a better grain however when I got home I found it had a dent in it, took it back next day, at first they refused to exchange due to there policy but after a discussion they relented I then had a few practice shots everything was fine then the pro had a few shots and she is good by the way. Then the tip came off while she took a shot and I had to pay for a replacement tip as she requested but said the fitting was free. Unbelievable.

Made the journey this morning from Oldham to have 2 snooker cues retipped, both cues took only 30 minutes to complete. What a great setup in the shop, you can try any of the cues for sale on the full size snooker tables and there are plenty of accessories to choose from. Thank you for the excellent service, it was worth the journey.

Going to a new store you would expect a high level of customer service. Not at cue sports. Made to feel very small, 3 or 4 staff around in close proximity, but make you feel very uncomfortable. Let's talk about the owner whose picture is on the wall. You would expect a warm, friendly & courtesy customer service, especially being someone who plays the sport somewhat professionally. Never got that at all. Was instructed through her workers not to take a practice shot on her match table whilst trying to test my new tip. No signs to say dont play here but she stood behind me and told her staff when I can hear her to tell me to get off and that too in a very rude manner. She could have told me herself ! Anyway not be going back, first impression and all. But my contacts in the West Yorkshire area have been made aware. AVOID !

I went to have my cue re-tipped.Top-level service. Fast and professional. We spoke about different opinions. After I made my choice, he showed me another tip opinion that was cheaper. I wasn't pushed to spend more than I wanted to. I was in and out in 10/15 minutes. Tip looks awesome!!!!

Needed a cue that would be stored at a club, wasn’t looking for anything expensive in case it got stolen. I used WhatsApp to get in touch with Cue Sports Yorkshire and they helped me choose a reasonable priced cue & case to my specification. Needed a ¾ jointed cue with an 8.5mm tip and an ash shaft along with a plain black case to go with it, I was sent pictures of various cues at a budget range with the closest spec to what I wanted (smallest tip size at the time was 8.8mm). I confirmed cue & case selection and price through WhatsApp and paid via bank transfer. I received my cue & case well packaged and within a couple days, which was very quick, I’m based in London for reference. I also received a mini-butt and cloth with my order which was a nice surprise, maybe this was part of a deal they offer. I have used my cue for a good few hours and I’m happy with it overall. The tip did seem a little hard but maybe I just need to wear it in, might be worth asking them to retip the cue with a different tip before being sent out if you would like a particular tip softness or brand i.e. Elk Master or Kamui etc. I’m sure this can be done for a small fee. Will be using their services and products in the future.
