Great school with great instructors. I've been training here for a few years and I've not just improved physically but also mentally which has helped me in all endeavours in life. Would 100% recommend going here if you want to learn martial arts, lose weight, or even just have a fun hobby to get out the house.
I have been training here for 15 years years and this school has taught me valuable life skills such as discipline, respect and confidence, along with a skillset in striking martial arts that covers a dynamic and vast array of techniques and styles that can be implemented in both a sporting and self-defence sense. I recommend to everyone from children to adults to give it a try and join the WBBA family. Lessons are dynamic including conditioning and fitness with serious martial arts training, the gym is spacious, bright and clean, and the atmosphere is welcoming and supportive.
We've been part of Walsall Blackbelt Academy for many years now, and I can't speak highly enough of the positive impact it has had on our family. Both of my children started when they were younger, and over time, they’ve gained so much more than just martial arts skills. They've developed focus, discipline, confidence, and a solid level of physical fitness with the structured weekly classes, that have brought great routine into our lives. Great academy with a spacious, clean facility and a really welcoming atmosphere. The team is friendly, encouraging, and always happy to help. The coaches explain and demonstrate martial arts techniques clearly, helping to build a solid foundation for anyone looking to become a skilled martial artist. Visited here for a free trial myself in September 2021. The head instructor was completely rude and disrespectful, and patronised me until I had no other choice to leave rather than giving me proper instruction for my first session. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else.
In my humble opinion it's the best martial arts school in the area. Very professional and family orientated. They will push you hard and make you sweat a lot and you would come back for more
Been training here for over 10 years. It has brilliant instructors who are there to help and develop everyone of all ages and abilities. They help create a great atmosphere where you learn and can have a laugh, but know when to knuckle down and get the work in. Couldn't recommend enough!
Knowledgeable instructors provided me with good feedback on the right age for my son to start training. Clean and welcoming atmosphere. I will be taking my Son in about a year when he is old enough and may start myself in the meantime.
I was introduced to WBBA after signing up for a Pink Collar Boxing Event, and 2 years on I still train regularly. The staff at WBBA are knowledgable, friendly and supportive. They truly care about avery student and will push you to achieve. I am currently 7 months pregnant and with the ongoing support of the staff I have been able to continue training with routines tailoured to my growing bump. I can't recommend WBBA highly enough.
