The gym is on the smaller side compared to many other mainstream gyms, which means you may not find all of the machines you'd like to use here. Classes are very good. Gym generally busy at usual peak times but relatively quiet otherwise. Although it is a mixed gender gym, I don't find this to be an issue, unless it is really busy. Would benefit from free lockers beings as the membership is just as high as other well equipped gyms.

Been a member on and off for years, always find staff pleasant and helpful and the fitness instructors are the best you will find (having tried and tested other centres). Special mention to Alice who takes the indoor cycling class on a Wednesday evening. I am fairly new to Alice's classes having only done approx. 6 with her - she is just brilliant! Very motivating, always cheery, shares technique and explains exercises to her class - She has great taste in music too. Alice makes spin classes fun and you always feel brilliant afterwards. I didn't think there was an instructor that could match Helen (who is just as awesome)! Thank you Alice, keep doing what you do please :)

Lovely gym, haven't explored much else. Staff seem nice. Has a good atmosphere. There is a pool, sauna, courts and lots of different classes. The classes and sauna are on the more expensive pass or Β£7 each as far as I know.

Ideal place to workout. It has a gym with all the equipment you need, 25m swimming pool and a steam room and sauna. My only issue is that the swimming pool hasn't changed since the 90s probably which is in need of a fresh look. It has a unisex changing room which can worry people at first but after seeing it in action, everyone is respectful and they use individual changing rooms. As it goes, it is a prefect place to workout

Squash court review - I believe there is only one court now, in good condition, it could do we having a fan somewhere that can be switched on/off at the users discretion. I couldnβt find any water anywhere near the court, for such an intense sport water is essential so it would be good to have it available for those of us that forget sometimes. Just under Β£3 for half hour off peak and nearly Β£6 on peak which isnβt terrible. Easy system to book online. Overall decent experience.

Place is run down, toilets are dirty, itβs like a greenhouse upstairs and the staff are never welcoming. Also, badminton courts are never set up and we are told to use any other oneβ¦.thatβs fine until someone else has booked that court. Not sure whatβs so difficult as they obviously know whoβs coming as you have to pre book

Swimming pool is good, water is warm in small pool and changing rooms are always clean. Would be nice if they had more later openings on the timetable especially at the weekend. The gym seems small but we'll equipped, would benefit from more weight machines in other rooms as I've been going for months now and haven't been able to use any of them yet.
