   I don’t know what happened to this sensei. He started off nice & he changed overtime. He started to become angry with the children and training weeks seemed to be made up on the day. He had no patience with the kids and with my young kids he made them cry. To what I would describe as bullying, especially to my 9 year old son who he would get angry with, shout at and call him names. I witnessed it and my husband did too. My husband spoke to the sensei who lost his temper and got angry in front of my children, other children and parents. The “sensei” had lost all control. I am really disappointed in this man that I trusted with my children and a man that we as a family had once respected who turned out to be a man that hurt my kids by his actions. Still to this day they are hurt. A complaint is going through with his association. Thankfully my children stayed within martial arts, in a different style to which they enjoy much more and thriving. But still, my children shouldn’t have gone through what they did with this “sensei” who has disgraced himself, karate and the association he represents. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but this one needed to be shared just incase others have experienced or for parents to be aware of. This is an honest review and my own personal experience with this “sensei”

   My children have been training with this academy for over 15 years and they have attained vital self defence skills whilst also being able to build on their confidence and discipline. They have all thoroughly enjoyed attending each class and looked forward to learning new skills and qualities as well as being able to gain an amazing rapport with the Sensei and are very grateful for what they have been taught and what they have managed to achieve.

   My son has been with this karate school for 3 years, the teaching is fantastic. Not only does the school teach self defence but also teaches them how to grow as a person and be more confident and disciplined. My daughter has also joined this year and loves it, so far she has grew in her confidence too. Thanks Sensei Gabriel I would recommend this karate school to anyone.

   My son has been a member since July 2021. I looked at other clubs in the area but this one came highly recommended. Karate requires great discipline. It is clear Sensei instills this well in the students. My son has really enjoyed his time so far, has had fun, established friendships, and you can see positive effects it can have in other areas of his life with commitment and hard work. I would recommend it to anyone looking for something for their son or daughter to try.

   This is a great karate academy my daughter has been coming for over 10 years she has achieved her black belt which is a great achievement. The teaching has made her confident, strong mentally and physically. My son has now joined and is coming along in a really positive way, and he enjoys it so much. The Sensei is a great teacher with a strict ethos for learning a discipline and always very encouraging and enthusiastic in pushing the children's abilities.

   My daugther goes every week. REally good class and Sensai is wonderful. Encourages all the children, strict but funny and friendly. Regular tournaments and grading for new belts. Sensai runs this at lots of venues and schools around Wolverhampton.
