Fabulous place! Went early this morning and Charlotte apologised for the "poor display" of cheeses as the weekend was very busy. If this is a poor display I'm coming back again, as there were still plenty of lots of beautifully different cheeses that you wont find in a supermarket.
Feel very lucky to live within walking distance of this shop! Highly recommend a visit for wines, cheese and bread. Charlotte is very friendly and knowledgeable and it’s great to be able to support a local independent business.
If it was possible to give a sixth and seventh star, I would. Charlotte is super friendly and helpful, with an amazingly creative selection of delicious wines, cheeses and breads. Wined up here is as good for a bottle of everyday wine as it is for a bottle of wine to impress on a special occasion. Very highly recommended and an asset to the local area.
Charlotte hosted an outstanding wine tasting for my father in law’s 70th birthday. She was knowledgeable, friendly and curated a superb selection of wines from his favourite region. A fantastic evening and I can’t wait to pop by and pick up some of the superb wines that we enjoyed.
Great little wine shop that also has a good selection of local/independent beers, plus bread and cheese! They managed to order some hard to get wine for us that transported us right back to the Italian hills. Perfect place to pick up a special bottle.
An absolutely wonderful shop and run by two of the loveliest people I have met in many, many years. It's a hidden gem and I cannot recommend Wined Up Here highly enough. The selection of wines is second to none and are perfect for special occasions, gifts and when you deserve a little treat for yourself. They even have a fantastic selection of whiskies, gins and rums from high-end and small batch distilleries. I can't wait to go back to investigate their selection of liqueurs too. Their range is not something you will find in a supermarket and has clearly been selected with great care with much of it based on feedback from their clients. Prices are reasonable considering the quality and uniqueness of the range. I was even offered a cup of tea and a slice of cake (at no charge!) when I had car trouble and was waiting for the AA to arrive. I'm so pleased I 'wound up there'!
Fed up with dull supermarket wines? Seek out Wined Up Here in Norbiton Village to find great wines of character that offer superb quality and value. Artisan cheese and bread adds to the appeal to making this a one-stop shop for the perfect ingredients to make that dinner party even more special. Wined up here is an independent wine merchant established in 2007. They stock over 250 wines from around the world which have been carefully chosen to over deliver. They also stock a wonderful range of artisan cheese, craft beers, cigars, specialist spirits and fresh bread baked on a wood-fire oven.
This is a wonderful place to buy excellent wine, beer and spirits with plenty of advice available. Just explain what you like, or going to eat and your price range and you will not be disappointed. The bread is superb and the cheese range is broad and varied, also very bad news to anyone on a diet. To go with the cheese is an excellent selection of biscuits, and I find that they are constantly reviewing the stock so there is always something new to try along with the old favorites. The staff led by Charlotte are delightful and there are lots of great present ideas for wine enthusiasts. This is a real foodie hub in Kingston and the shop has the most wonderful welcoming feel.
