We went to the Christmas Wine Tasting last night. As well as tasting great wines, we loved the insight Pippa was able to give into the producers and history of the wines. Add in very convivial company, and all in all a lovely evening!
We went to the Italian wine tasting event on Thursday 4th December. It was very well hosted by Marcello and he had selected an interesting range of wines for us to taste. Great insights and comments from Marcello, and a tasty charcuterie and cheese plate to accompany the tastings. A very convivial and enjoyable evening.

Last night I attended the first Quiz, Wine and Pizza night with 5 friends. Jasmine, Marcello and Pippa put on a superb evening, we all had a great time. We're already looking forward to the next one.

Superb wine shop. Fantastic range, keen prices but critically the staff are wonderful. They listen to what you are after and make excellent suggestions showcasing their amazing depth of knowledge. And the best bit? Not a whit of snobbery; great advice and super wine dispensed without pretension, condescension or affection.
Our experiences with The Good Wine Shops have always been positive, always an extensive selection of wine that you know and new wines to explore helped by knowledgeable and friendly staff. The only issue is that we end up buying more than we initially planned!

Really appreciated his time and careful choices to make up the gift. Also great advice in store and we have enjoyed some new wines at reasonable prices which taste much more expensive than the price tag.
