I shopped in here while walking the Pennine Way. Everything in here is quality - exactly the stuff you want to buy - no tat. I bought some gaiters with help from the shop keeper, and they helped me for hours to get me on my way. Fantastic shop.

Independent outdoor shop with a reasonable selection of gear. Very friendly and helpful owner (Sue?) who had good product knowledge and was impressively able and willing to stay open to accommodate my friend who was having feet and boot issues on day 3 of the PW. (I don't think any of the outdoor chains would do that!) Great service and directly because of his new boots, we were able to finish the walk.
