Classes are amazing. The staff and my class mates make me feel really comfortable to just try my best. The teaching is really clear and taught at a good pace. More than anything I have fun every time I go, as well as feeling I have greatly improved as an actor! Iād highly recommend!
I've been looking for a great acting/Drama class for my daughter for quite some time, unfortunately none of them were good enough. I came across, 'Red Lens', who are based at the Hippodrome in Birmingham. I found their site through Google on a Google search for acting. On arrival I met one of the instructors who was lovely. She made us feel so welcome. My daughter took part in one of their sessions and I watched from the side. The session was exactly what I was looking for. A relaxed atmosphere with great people all having fun but getting down to some serious work. Coming from a theatrical background myself, I would highly recommend, 'RedLens'. Christian Williams.
I have had such an amazing time for my first session at Red lens acting class. It was such a pleasure getting to know everyone and would definitely come back for more acting class.
I was very nervous as I did not know anybody, but Shireenah and everybody else made me feel extremely welcome and I settled in immediately. I would definitely recommend this acting class as it gave me the opportunity to perform in front of a camera, which is what I was looking for. If you decide to attend this class, you will not be disappointed!

I took part in Red Lens's Actors G.Y.M recently, on Wednesday 6th July, and I have nothing but great things to say about it. Shireenah made me feel very comfortable and at ease within the class, and I could see others were as well. The class started with a focus, 'Purpose', and we were asked what springs to mind when we think of this. The whole session had 'Purpose' at the centre, and through acting games and improvisation, Shireenah helped us to see how this can be worked in to our characterisation & scenes. Shireenah is professional, experienced, competent and confident. If you are new to acting, or looking to sharpen your skills, then The Actors G.Y.M is highly recommended!
I was super nervous before I went to the Actors G.Y.M class but once I got there I had a great time! Everyone was so lovely and welcoming, you also feel very relaxed in the class. All the activities that we did were super helpful and you also get to learn from the other people around you. I would definitely recommend to those wanting to start their acting journey!
I had the privilege to attend a Red Lens class a week ago as we were filming content of Shireenah's class for our new podcast show, Reel Talk. The class was a lot of fun with other like minded people who have a passion for acting. Shireenah will make you feel relaxed and put you at ease instantly. Her classes are so much fun, playing warm up games and putting you in the right mindset to using skills to help you concentrate which come in handy when you are in an acting scene with someone. Her knowledge of the industry and applying new tools through your craft when in an acting scenario are priceless. Everyone gets a lot out of these classes and I certainly enjoyed my time there. If you want to join the best acting class in Birmingham then Shireenah and Red Lens are the one.
