When I contacted matrix I was allocated with Cheryl Carless who worked with me tirelessly to force my housing association take their responsibility to do the work about the damp, mould, and other issues in my house, and also ensure that I get my compensation.    We contacted Matrix solicitors in May with concerns about disrepair to our home,they successfully brought our landlord to account and have secured all outstanding works required to be completed within the next 3 months,in addition we have been awarded a substantial sum of money in compensation that we never expected.    Matrix was my first solicitor I had a prior one this solicitor was recommended by Brian Harvey from YouTube and I haven’t looked back they informed me not to let my landlord start repairs prior to an inspection or my disrepair claim would not be processed my previous solicitor did not advise this and I had to start over. Luckily matrix took on my case and have spoken to my landlords and communication was top priority to matrix they have also indicated that if my landlords don’t for fill within 90 days I can contact them again they have been so easy to contact if contacted they almost immediately respond and that’s all you want is communication so thanks to all of them I was made an out of court settlement and was very happy that my landlord will complete the repairs outstanding

   I would like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to Matrix Solicitors, particularly Quintin and Lucy who worked so hard in my disrepair case and compensation claim against my landlord (Southwark Council). Both Quintin and Lucy chased my landlords to get my compensation claim for disrepairs in my house which has caused serious health problems for me and caused me frequent hospital visits and admissions. When I first contacted Matrix Solicitors, they sent out a surveyor to come and inspect my property to see the damages that the disrepair has caused and started working out straight away with all the paperwork sent to my landlord. Then, put a report and sent it off to my landlord to hear their side of what they are willing to do concerning the damages caused due to the ongoing disrepairs at my house. I was also sent to a private hospital to see an expert respiratory doctor so he can also write a report about how my health has been affected by the moulding, dampness and damages caused by the disrepair. The report was drafted and a copy was sent to me. Every communication was sent to me via letters, emails, text messages and phone calls too. Matrix Solicitors was keeping me updated about the outcome of every communication they had with my landlord and vice versa. A barrister took the compensation claim to the court and we won the claim. Hence, my landlord has to come and do the necessary repairs and pay out my compensation ordered by the court. This space is not big enough for me to write everything and some are confidential, however, I am very happy with Matrix Solicitors in the handling of my disrepairs with my landlord. I would very much recommend Matrix Solicitors to everyone who is struggling with their landlords, be it private, council or Housing Association about housing Disrepairs etc to contact them to handle their case and watch what happens next. They are the best thing out there. In addition, I would recommend them 100% because they are very kind, caring, helpful, have good listening skills, are friendly, knowledgeable about their job, have experts in their line of work, are hard working to get the job done, encouraging, truthful, honest, reliable and efficient.
