Excellent service from Islington wine. Prompt delivery and good communication. I would definitely buy from them again.
My (French) daughter went here to ask for a bottle of red for about 15 pounds and was very rudely treated, peremptorily directed to some "cheap" wine. If you go to a wine shop in France and ask for a bottle for 17 euro you will be treated very differently. I'm really disappointed, as I had recommended she go to this shop near our friends' house. At first I noted this place one star because of the above, but I have since had contact with the manager who has really taken the time to look into this and apologised. This is a welcome change so I added two stars for after-sale service.
I made the gift order by phone from abroad and Islington wines were so kind in helping me choose a selection of sparkling wines as a gift. The transaction went smoothly via phone and email back up with photos. They delivered the wine that day. Excellent service. I would highly recommend them. Thank you very much guys.
I have been coming here since it opened, many years ago as it is just around the corner from me. The service is impeccable, friendly and knowledgeable. They often do drink tastings on Friday evenings and I have discovered some interesting wines and spirits here. They have a great selection of wine and quite reasonably priced. It is well worth a visit.
I am ao pleased with my order! A close friend believed that a much loved wine had been discontinued, however, I was able to source it from Islington Wines. I didn't even have to pay delivery costs as the shop is literally on her doorstep. It's funny how things work out! Excellent service - thank you!

A charming independent wine shop! Huge selection and incredibly convenient location (if you live nearby.) Stop in for magnum ice creams or magnum champagnes! A classic spot
This is a truly fantastic local institution. They have such a great range of wines, for everyone at each price point. The staff are all so lovely, and helped us with the champagne for a friend’s wedding. We were so sad to hear about Desmond’s passing as he was so lovely, but we know it is still in safe hands.
