It's a nice little shop with more inside than I expected. Staff are friendly and helpful. They insist customers wear a mask (which is reassuring as I have asthma and COPD) they are also open before some other shops which is good when I want to go when it's not busy
So, this morning I went along to this store only to be told by the assistant that I cannot enter the premises without a mask, thats fair enough, what followed when I told her that I am asthmatic and cannot wear a face covering was completely wrong, she said I would have to present an exemption form to enter the store, I went home and returned to the shop with my Ventolin inhaler but she was aggressively adamant that she would need to see an exemption form and the Ventolin inhaler proof isn't sufficient evidence, I can accept this but her extremely aggressive attitude saying things like 'I'm losing the will here' and 'he's got a bible on him' true, it goes everywhere with me, but back on point, the law stipulates masks in stores thats fair enough but asking me to provide an exemption form is NOT a legal requirement and therefore she was in the wrong about this and I would advise that the store gets official clarity on this. To top things off a very irate and aggressive guy came out of the shop and confronted me in an extremely aggressive manner being abusive and threatening and intimidating, after contemplating phoning the police I decided to walk away, if I made these people react like this then I'm apologetic but I suspect that the problem lies within themselves when it comes to being diplomatic and civilized. I went to the shop for some snacks and came away almost getting beat up!!
Half of the women especially an older woman in her 50s with greying blonde hair ignore you when you say hello wont even look at you or look down on you when you go in very bad customer service I dont really use this shop for that reason otherwise I would because they have good stuff at reasonable price. Shame really because Kaz, Gemma and that other older lady are really great.
