If i could I would give 0 stars! I waited months — since September — for my sofa to arrive, and when it finally turned up (December) it had a clear manufacturing fault. The sections don’t fit together properly at all. The delivery team just left it in the middle of my living room, completely unusable and taking up the entire space. Before trying live chat, I actually called DFS to arrange an assessment, and I was told the earliest appointment was 8 days away. After waiting this long for a sofa, being told to wait over a week for someone to even look at a manufacturing fault is ridiculous. Then I tried live chat hoping for some help, but that was just as useless. There was no urgency, no willingness to offer any solution, and no understanding of the fact that my living room is basically out of action because of their mistake. The lack of responsibility, lack of support, and lack of urgency from DFS has been unbelievable. After this experience, I absolutely would not recommend them to anyone and avoid them all you can!!

We came on the Saturday to find a sofa. We were greeted by Sue. Absolutely amazing customer service, start to finish. She has a great understanding of design, comfort, maximising your home space. A lot of experience and knowledge with the best customer intentions. She told us to go home and have a think about it, come back on the Sunday. We did do, followed her advice on drawing up a home sketch including the sofa. Arriving Sunday, had another browse and finally set in stone our perfect sofa. Again, ran through all of this with Sue. Absolutely lovely women. Definitely advise on asking for Sue if you’re unsure or need a second opinion. Clear, precise and informative communication and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better, to help us buy our first dream sofa. Thank you so much for your help Sue.

Great customer service in store… once they’ve got your commitment however it’s a different story. Our sofa was due to be delivered between 07:45 and 10:45 on Sunday morning. Come 11:00 no sign of it. Rang customer service, they were having technical issues so couldn’t provide an update. A couple of hours passed still no sign. We then webchat dfs, delivery is delayed for an additional hour. Two more hours passed no sign. We ring again early evening to find that our sofa wasn’t even loaded onto the van. At no point did anyone at dfs let us know we wouldn’t be receiving our sofa, we had to cancel our plans and I had to take a day off work for it to be redelivered on Thursday afternoon (today). The delivery was late and once again there was no communication from start to finish. DFS wouldn’t offer compensation or a refund of the shipping costs but instead sent us a bottle of Prosecco by way of an apology. Terrible customer service will not purchase anything from DFS and would strongly advise others not to.

The company has a purposefully vague and very poor returns offering. I highly recommend you avoid them and their business model. There’s plenty of other ways to buy your sofa, with a much more consumer friendly experience.

Very positive experience, simplicity itself and very friendly staff at the Warrington store. A big thank you to Sam for making the whole transaction enjoyable. A word to DFS as an organisation... please include your delivery and assembly costs in the price of the item. That way the customer won't be unpleasantly surprised when it's time to pay the bill. A bit more transparency would be great.

Poor: I ordered a dining table and chairs on 19 November 2022. Today it is 7 March 2023 and I am still waiting delivery. I have been given no delivery date. I have been into the shop twice in the last couple of weeks asking for an update. I was promised a call back with an update, and the call never happened. Won't be shopping there again!

I went to the dfs store in middle of october.I picked a couch and paid in full to be made and all the add ones also delivery,i received an email saying the couch was ready 5 weeks ago and IM STILL WAITING FOR IT The level of service i am getting is dreadful over the phone.They are so unprofessional that it is not even funny anymore. Me and my daughter had to sit on deck chairs over christmas and WE STILL ARE Very dissapointed.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! Ordered a couch at the beginning of October expecting it to be here for Christmas had excuse after excuse to why my sofas late. First it was they had no foam told to ring back a week later then was fobbed off and was told they can’t get hold of the supplier rang again today then told it is coming in but can’t give me a date. Terrible customer service, terrible complaints procedure all they want it your money and to run DISGRACEFUL!! AVOID AVOID AVOID
