   We booked Amp and Decks after they were recommended to us by our wedding venue for our wedding on the 21st of June. We have left a 2 star review due to the incredibly slow responses via email when any questions were asked. I even had to chase up the booking form from the start. I was constantly having to chase with 'any news on the above' replying to my emails sent to them weeks ago before I got a response from them. I got a response to a message I'd sent a couple of weeks before the wedding day asking for some advice the evening before the wedding day! We had asked for our first dance song to be mixed into something more upbeat and well known to get everyone up dancing, we specifically requested espresso by Sabrina Carpenter however, when it came to playing this song, a very slow version of it started to play before the DJ realised it was the incorrect version, stopping it and playing the correct version from the beginning which spoilt the effect we wanted and caused a bit of awkwardness on the dance floor at a vital part in the wedding. Nothing that some organisation could have helped. We spent time in the planning stages putting together a playlist as we had been advised to on the original booking email however when the end of the night was approaching, lots of the songs on the 'must play' list hadn't been played and we had to keep asking the DJ to find the songs and play them, sometimes being told that his phone wasn't working so he couldn't get us the songs we wanted. Although it ended up being a fab night, we were let down in the moments we spent time planning for and looking forward to.

   Amp and Decks played our wedding, which with short notice, needed to be a silent disco due to the venue. They handled this well and were willing to accommodate. However, after hours of working on our song recommendations on the provided portal, as told to do, our DJ did not have the song recommendations nor know they existed. He spent 1 hour of our wedding playing music we did not request while trying to "find" our song list. He was also rude to my husband, the groom, when discussing this with him by implying his requests were not as important as our guests. In the end, we did his job for him but telling him exactly what song to play next. Huge waste of money while I could have made a Spodify list for free. My husband and I called to discuss this with the owner, in which we received disgraceful customer service. He took no accountability for his DJ and tried every way to blame us or our guests. Including, he blamed us for living in America and not being able to meet with him. We successfully planned a wedding across the world in the time of technology and communicate effectively via email. Pathetic excuses came, one after another. The owner ended our call saying he would call us back to discuss more. He did not call us back. Again, disgraceful. Don't book this DJ. Go with a more professional and prepared company so you don't have the same embarrassment on your wedding day like we did. Update: Amps and Decks got back into communication with us soon after this review. They made an effort to rectify the mistakes mentioned above by the DJ on the night of our wedding. We appreciate the willingness to make amends and the further communication we did receive.

   We were worried about potential drama when hiring a DJ for our wedding as it was short notice (military wife!) but from the moment we contacted Amp and Decks, they were beyond helpful and made the process so easy. They guided us through the packages they offered & were happy to make additional arrangements to suit two fussy brides! We were able to pick a selection of songs prior to the event (with our guests input) via an online portal which we didn’t see offered by many others, and the entire night went so smoothly. All of our guests had a fab time and praised the DJ for his hard work, and we can’t thank them enough for helping make our day perfect! Would recommend and use again if we ever require a DJ - thanks so much to the entire team :)

   Aaron came and did our disco for our wedding at carr bank, he was fantastic, very professional and looked smart. The online request portal was great too, nothing was a problem for him even when he shut everything down to end the night a bossy guest asked him to play one last song he happily turned it back on and played the song.    Aaron is a true professional. He made book music for our wedding really easy. Aaron explained all his packages well and all I can say is go for his top package. The decor lights he created made the dance floor look like a fairytale for our wedding. He took request of songs. Aaron reads the crowd well and knew what to put on to keep the party going right to the end. Thank you Aaron for making our day extra special we will definitely recommend you to others
