Great for all your shopping essentials! Lovely staff that’s always happy to help! Shelves are always stocked up and the shop is kept clean on regular bases! Love their veggies and fruits section the most as it’s full of fresh produce. Their fridge section is impressive too. They’ve got great choice of meat, fish, shellfish, cheese, smoothies, juices as well as great selection of frozen foods such as pizzas, ready meals, ice creams just to name a few. It’s a pure pleasure to shop in here! They’ve got it all! Would recommend ✨

Unfortunately the lads on the till are not able to manage the queue effectively ie one customer queue to feed both staffed tills. They are too reluctant to tell people this is how it operates causing significant frustration for the other people queing respectfully. Some custoner service training required! Disappointing experience compared to other stores.

Great little shop for having to pick up some standard bits of food in a hurry.

It’s just full of stuff u need usually! Awesome bakery! Perfectly marinated salmon! High quality fruits! Friendly staff! I’ve been going to the same sainsburys for over a year and can’t remeber a time when I had bad experience with the products or services!

Small but well stocked grocer. Mostly self checkout stations but the available staff are friendly and helpful. Good for grab and go lunch sandwiches, etc

Friendly staff and helpful too. I really like its location, often end up buying lunch from here in a rush, many self service checkouts so saves times even during busy hours

A fairly nice city center store. Nothing amazing and staff were pretty quiet again. Not much conversation or interaction at the till. I managed to get everything I wanted except for a bottle opener. Not something I'd mark the store down on but with so many hotels around maybe worth stocking. Overall though was an alright store. Good thing is the number of self service checkouts which keep things moving as long as people use them. So better than some smaller stores in the city.

If you're rushing for the train home and need to grab a few bits and pieces for your evening meal this isn't a bad place to stop. It's a long, narrow shop and gets rather crowded, but it stocks the essentials so don't expect to be able to do your weekly "big shop" here. Word of warning: expect to queue! It gets really busy here...

This Sainsbury's store is the perfect stop-off to get a bite to eat or other essential item if you're making your way into the city centre from Oxford Road. The aisles are quite narrow and it can be get really busy in the mornings as people make their way into work. I tend to buy breakfast from here - the bakery section has a good range of pastries, croissants, cinnamon whirls etc. I would buy my from here lunch too, but at the times I usually go (between 8.20 and 9.00am) some of the shelves are still being stocked and I find the sandwich options are limited. The store has a large number of self-checkout tills, which I find are fairly fast-moving compared to the smaller number of people-manned tills they offer. If you like a bit of chit chat and interaction with your purchase, this probably isn't the best store to shop in.
