   I went in for some make up, didn’t really know what I wanted and needed some advice. Ruby at the Marple store was so helpful and helped me choose the products I needed. She’s always so helpful whenever I go in. She’s a real asset to the team, and always makes my experience great.

   A very well run shop : clean well stocked and the staff are knowledgeable especially the manageress goes beyond the call of duty!!nothing is too much trouble and she always advises on products not a problem.She constantly on the she shop floor busy a very hands on manager. A pleasure to shop in there and would like to thank you for your help today.

   I often buy from this shop however the one situated in Marple is disgraceful!! I wasn’t explicitly impressed with the staff and I felt scrutinised and judged by the employees. I was told to move out of an aisle I wasn’t being disruptive in. I also was accused of trying to place a product in the reduced section, although the staff member didn’t take into consideration that I just had my hands full and had truly no intentions of disorganising and destroying the products on display. When paying it was clear to see the woman behind the counter preferred older customers, she was warm hearted and polite whereas once serving me and some friends, who we are all a bit younger, she was more offensive and improper. I felt discriminated for my age. I didn’t feel comfortable or safe in the environment, as of one small move would get me kicked out. The whole time I was paying the process was painful. Dirty looks always being sent our way. (I was with around 4 friends at this time) We were all buying products therefore none of us were committing any acts of impolite mannerisms; the woman who served us, possibly only a few years older, was ill-mannered. In further future I am going to avoid going to this shop in this location. It’s not the areas fault, nor the shops, it is simply just staff. If you are going to apply for a job, you do it right with full commitment. We weren’t disrespectful and the shop was pretty much empty anywho, so it’s not like the woman who served us was being overworked and tired out. Just because me and friends were younger members of society does not mean relenting kindness and treating us with hostility and disdain.

   Horrible experience. Young woman that served me and my friends on the 22/03/2023 at around 4pm was rude and made us feel very unwelcome. She ripped up my friends receipt in front of her and didn’t even ask, told us to “move” (no manners whatsoever) and was giving us dirty looks even though we had all bought something and we were not being troublesome. I’m afraid to say this is down to our age as we are young but that is no excuse to treat us like that and I feel as though had it been someone older it would of been a different story. The environment was hostile and staff were ill-mannered and impolite.
