They initially indicated that they were able to take on my work; however, they subsequently reversed their position and stated that they could not do so, without providing any explanation. When pressed for clarification, they responded that they were too busy to accept new work. Wasted weeks of my time!
The worst solicitors I have ever dealt with. Avoid at all costs. After months of work to purchase a property, I was advised that ESN could no longer represent me due to a restructure at the firm. Arisha and Monique found a new firm for me however the delay caused to the completion date meant I incurred an increased late completion charge. ESN provided no compensation for this. Furthermore, it took nearly 6 weeks for them to refund the money I had on account. This was after multiple emails and phone calls to request for the money. I’m not sure what changes have been made at ESN, but it is at detriment to customer service. I would recommend using a different firm if possible.
I'd like to share my disappointment with the after sale service at ESN Solicitors. The transaction itself went alright, but when I contacted them (specifically Senior Conveyancer Monique Brown) to request a bill/invoice for the legal fees paid they completely ignored me. I sent an email on Monday, followed up with a phone call and left a message with the person who picked up, and sent another email on Tuesday including to the general contact address, but neither Monique nor the firm had the courtesy of responding to my requests. I'll be sending them a formal complaint and contacting the Legal Ombudsman. Very unprofessional and disappointing. Something for future clients to consider when deciding whether to engage with this firm
If I could I would give 0 stars for this place. I called a while ago seeking help in a family matter and I was told to wait for their call back. Never got that call. I called again to see what is happening and I told the lady I was waiting for thecall which I never received and she was keep asking if I'm a new customer even though I told her the story. Then she said they don't get new customers. If you need help just don't waste your time with them.
These guys are quick and very responsive which is rare from solicitors. Always on hand. Was purchasing a new build house and they managed to get the mortgage completed in 10 days for me as i needed this done quick. Will definitely use again.
We have just bought a new house and were recommended ESN solicitors. We could not have been happier with them. Arjan and Gemma have been extremely efficient and responsive since day 1. I have never had to wait more than 24 hours for a reply and they provided us with regular updates along the way. They have been extremely approachable and the quote provided to us at the beginning was accurate and they did not charge us any unseen extras. Their advice was always clear and logical and they were very supportive of first time buyers. I could not recommend them enough! After all the bad experiences that people have had with other solicitors/firms, this was a breeze!

I cannot recommend Jonathan Atkins at ESN solicitors highly enough. Fought my corner and didn’t back down during a complicated house buy, extremely polite and helpful with nothing too much trouble and in constant communication with myself throughout . I cannot thank him enough! Without his professionalism and help there’s no doubt in my mind I would have lost the house. If you need someone too represent you Jonathan’s your man !
